is it a true TX bed?

I've now edited out the common reused codes for you. the codes are still correct, but some of the descriptions have been altered/deleted because they were reused over the years and thus overwritten. in time we hope to rebuild the data base. but in the meantime I'm afraid you don't have a powdercoated bumper or rack-n-pinion steering.

just keeps getting better and better

it most definitely came from somewhere.

it's easy. which title would you prefer to keep?

does "lengthened" mean a whole new shaft body? if so, I'd probably do that. but if you've got the cash, the SYE is a good strength upgrade.

talk to a body shop. talking is free. I'm not a body man, so I can't tell you how it all works. the corner is not a usual rot-out area, so maybe it's cheaper to weld in a new upper corner?

ooooo, I bet that thing is a blast in the sand!

absolutely. now, I don't know what that all would cost out of pocket, but I do know that if the steel it there, it can be reshaped. if it turns out to be an outrageous price, I have a few beds for sale in the classifieds.

talk to a body shop. they can work miracles to pull that back out into shape.

grab yourself a hatchet and go get some breakfast! -
the electric speedo assembly just needs to be removed and the gear driven one installed in its place I don't remember how the driveshaft length works out. my 88 was 2wd when I did the conversion and it was always going to get cut down. but I do believe the output spline count of the t-case remained the same.
