the full build sheet is actually much larger than this, but a ton of info was lost in a basement flood before it could be entered into Chrysler's computers. eventually we hope to get enough fragments from enough trucks to be able to piece together all the options. I see your truck has a birthday coming up in a month.

fixed it for ya. it's not hard people. I tweaked the lights on my rented truck (sagging pretty bad due to the 3 axles back there). it really is that easy.

with all of 50 bucks as the fine? seems pointless.

"I think" is not the same as "I know". there are only a few things needed to get spark. one of them has failed. any parts store will have that spark checker. possibly even walmart.

I've got no way of knowing if you held them close enough to get the spark to jump. did you test the CPS resistance?

oh yeah. as per usual there's no clue about cost or when they would be ready for sale. based on the language on that step stool, I'd say this image is from overseas.

not that it's ever bad a bad thing to do a basic tune up, but before you fire the parts cannon, check for spark coming out of the coil. do you have an inline spark tester?

unless your truck was a super pimped-out Laredo, chances are you'll find extra plugs here and there. Jeep found it cheaper to make one harness to fit multiple trucks.

might be one of those guys who's wife said he needed to "sell the truck or else" and so he's "put it up for sale".

since you can swap late model shafts (with the bigger ujoints) into an early CAD axle pretty easily, they are all pretty much the same up to 2000 when they switched to low pinion. but even that isn't really all that bad. every single TJ has a low pinion front and they manage pretty well. get an axle that appears to be in good shape and has 4.10s (unless you're planning on regearing) do be sure to know what year the axle is. while all years can be swapped in, the bearings and brakes and such changed here and there.

you're definitely going to want 4.10 gears, as that new 5th gear will be mostly useless without it. literally any year of XJ will work for you. some years are better than others, but all can work.
