  1. why would you need to turn off the radar aspect of the fancy cruise control?
  2. you can turn all that off in a durango. and yes, most everything in the menus requires you to be in park in all modern cars. that just always going to be the case due to safety concerns. (which is a little irritating since the car knows whether or not I have a passenger to do all that for me )
  3. heck no. just a half-acre of plain black leather I confirmed it with the window sticker before making any phone calls.
  4. unfortunately you can't go back in time, but you can turn yours off if you'd like. besides, georgia drivers certainly don't need a fancy radar thingie to attach to your rear bumper. drafting is like the state pastime or something.
  5. It definitely takes some getting used to.
  6. down payment has been sent to a dealership in western KY. the Durango is as close as I could find to the previous R/T but with the added awesomeness of the fancy radar cruise control. now we just wait for it to be done with the "in transit" thing. no idea how long that'll take. I can't wait for my folks to experience the awesomeness that is radar assisted cruise.
  7. the A-pillar trim is an absolute pain, but it does for sure come out without removing the dash. It has the tensile strength of a Ritz cracker, so don't force anything. people are now printing the visor clips using better plastic. I think there's one or 2 in the Vendors section of the classifieds.
  8. your build sheet is actually bigger than that, but a lot of info was lost before it got entered into the chrysler computers back in the day and then later chrysler started reusing some of the codes for other cars. oh, and I seem to have missed that transmission code. I'll fix it now...
  9. have you tried spraying a bit of carb cleaner around the intake manifold gasket? even if the bolts are tight, it might still be leaking.
  10. are you bleeding them in the special MJ-specific way?
  11. solid lookin' truck. good score!
  12. that bed rust is actually a bit shocking to me considering the excellent shape of the rest of it.
  13. Could be heat expansion pulling the intake manifold from the head. Double check the torque on the bolts.
  14. plenty of us have been there. I remember when I had my 88 up on stands in the garage and had the bumper tube (not yet a bumper) sitting on more jackstands so I rolled over a tire and just sat there staring at the front corner of the truck because it looked "complete".
  15. it was put up there for advertising
  16. looking good. only 5 million more things to do and you're there!
  17. 42 center to center I think. chances are they are XJ width. you're going to want to change that before you eat the bushings on one side and the axle shifts over.
  18. sweet! you're going to start a build thread on that, yes? the CC has just the place for it: https://comancheclub.com/forum/40-member-projects-other-cool-stuff/
  19. were those leaf perches moved to the MJ width?
  20. that tire width makes a world of difference. JW, if you do 33s, do 10.5s.
  21. fancy, non-essential Jeep parts.
