if it's got a clean title, the stripped out and rusty cab might still be worth scrap price to someone building an offroader from the ground up. less than 19,000 left on the road.

I think it was the grey MJ I had that would squirt washer fluid all over the engine bay due to a rotted hose. at least it was easy enough to diagnose after popping the hood.

is the radiator original? normally I don't advise throwing parts at a problem, but there's nothing wrong with brand new cooling system components.

the engine will crank until the computer is absolutely positively certain about where the engine is in it's rotation. some guys have found benefit from replacing the CPS or fixing corrosion in its wire harness. no promises though, as this is a very common occurrence for renix Jeeps.

based on the muffler coming out of the hood and the front bumper stuck inside the car, I'd say it's a weekend racer?

it's just steel. keep adding more until you happy with the results. this sounds like a perfect candidate for some serious offroad upgrades.

after 10 total posts the classifieds will open up to you. if you have a bent gate, talk to a body shop. they can repair just about any damage.

there's a drain plug on one side, and the fill is on the other.

I think you win either way. I would go black, but mostly because they aren't chrome, but more of a silver.

I skipped the brackets entirely for some 1/4" SS bolts and SS fender washers on my MJ trailer. other guys have done as you are thinking and just use the brackets as giant washers. still other guys weld bolts to the brackets. it doesn't matter much as long as the fenders stay put at freeway speeds

I run an 8" sub and it'll liquefy your kidneys if it's behind the driver's seat. it's a tiny cab. you don't have to get too crazy and eat up all your storage space.

only new lenses are available. gotta cut the old out and glue the new on.

I realize it's a different diesel, but I run 0-w40 in my KJ year round. 220k so far with no issues.

swapping to 4wd is a bolt-in operation with the right parts.

I'll have to look into it later today. might need to do a bunch of screenshots.
