did you check power at the battery terminals? that will confirm that the meter is set right.

if it's got a clean title, the stripped out and rusty cab might still be worth scrap price to someone building an offroader from the ground up. less than 19,000 left on the road.

I think it was the grey MJ I had that would squirt washer fluid all over the engine bay due to a rotted hose. at least it was easy enough to diagnose after popping the hood.

is the radiator original? normally I don't advise throwing parts at a problem, but there's nothing wrong with brand new cooling system components.

the engine will crank until the computer is absolutely positively certain about where the engine is in it's rotation. some guys have found benefit from replacing the CPS or fixing corrosion in its wire harness. no promises though, as this is a very common occurrence for renix Jeeps.
