from what I've read, it'll be close enough to make work, but not exact. finding good 30 year old carpets in the 'yards is a challenge unto itself. new carpet is available from ACC, but that too is close enough to make work, but not exact.

I can confirm that. though i don't know the exact date of change. if you can find the back of a late model bench, it'll go onto the early bench. oh, and RayBuck makes brand new covers for certain benches (though not all for some reason).

this is how to measure the height

no need to let it get hot. get the rear up 6", crack the sensor, then start the engine. it's easy to go too far and have the sensor pop off which would then spew hot coolant all over. I usually suggest covering it with a rag when doing it.

I would still try bleeding out the temp sensor. not because I doubt the effectiveness of the vacuum fill system, but because renix 4.0s are notorious for trapping air at the back of the head where the sensor is.

oh, and cruise control can be either regular or smart. and the lane departure feature actively tweaks the steering wheel (as opposed to the simple beep in the Tacoma) but can be turned off with a hard button on the dash that stays off with each start of the engine. I didn't play with that feature though, as the trailer was already out of my lane by the time the truck sensed anything so I left it off. I'll update later once I can drive it around sans trailer.

I just might have if the PT had a hitch. but after experiencing pulling a uhaul dolly on I-24, I'm glad I didn't try. that road has some serious issues.
