  1. Supposed to be flush with the axle tube end. http://gojeep.willyshotrod.com/HowtoAxleSeal.htm
  2. If you want to use a cheap replacement rear axle bearing (Mopar p/n J8134586) from Advance for your 91 D35 c-clip rear axle, the correct bearing is Driveworks S-5707. A better choice is National bearing #5707, also available, and I believe it comes with a new race.
  3. ^^ I looked at the group 78 and decided against it. About the same $$ as a comparable group 34 battery but way less CCA. It's a smaller side-post battery so you have to change the cables and/or terminals too. Not worth it...
  4. Cherokee XJ front license plate holder (p/n 52003479) then splice in aftermarket LED marker lights.
  5. Nice job on the headliner.
  6. It's the trim piece that's fastened to the outside of the right bucket seat bracket.
  7. I must admit, I did have some problems a few weeks ago when I changed the pads and rotors out. I have the Ford Exploder rear disk setup and could not get the rotors off. Beat the crap out of them and they wouldn't budge. I seldom use videos for problems, prefer the FSM's, but in this case the below video I found online saved my azz. Scroll to the 4 minute mark to see how it's done. It works great.
  8. Do it. You'll be glad you did, unless you're a masochist who loves the aggravations of drum brakes.
  9. SBpunk. As I recall a jack stand failed while he was working under his rig and broke his shoulder. Pretty bad, but could have been a lot worse.
  10. Yeah, like +or- ~10lbs really makes a difference. Either way, you shouldn't be trying to it yourself w/o a jack.
  11. Everything you need to know about speedo gears is HERE.

    XJ ECU ?

Dirty's correct. The auto 96 ECU will work, but that's it according to the part numbers.

    XJ ECU ?

    A/T or standard trans? 2.5 or 4.0?
  14. 1. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f13/np242-weight-1170136/ 2. Call one and ask? I know though in CT it'll be double what it would cost here.
  15. Those BFG AT KO2 tires drive nice and quietly when new, but after they wear down some, they really make a lot noise on the pavement. And it gets progressively worse as they wear down. Maybe they are better now - good luck.
  16. You're starting to piss me off with all this high quality work you are accomplishing in record breaking time.
  17. Correct - I missed that.

  19. I'll take it. Let me know when you're ready.
