Just ordered one from y'all. Installing a new tank and was gonna reuse the old one, but a NOS for $85 it's too good to pass up.
-
Glad I could help
-
Would also be interested in where it is. Looks like it has honey interior and I'd like to see if it has some bits.
-
I should add I think the measurements are from the edges of the door, but it's been quite a while since I took them.

These are measurements I took of the mounting holes from my trucks factory tow mirrors. I hope these are helpful

Been meaning to write a review on the experience I had having Jeremy redo my RX-135. He was extremely communicative, always told me what was going to be done and making sure I was cool with it before he did it. Always up front about how effective a repair could or could not be, and what I should expect out of the radio. At the end of the day it was more expensive than slapping a Pioneer in the truck but 1000% worth the money for me to have the radio out of my grandads truck functional with an AUX input in my truck. Cannot recommend Jeremy's service enough.

Squirrelly Dan: Coheed's 86 Custom
coheed replied to coheed's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
Not too much of an update. Mostly just taking the truck up in the mountains to go hiking and stuff. Replaced the oe bumper with a FEY one. Hauled all my garage stuff to the new house with the truck and the MJ trailer I built. Replaced the engine and transmission mounts. All of them were in this condition, and I'm honestly surprised I wasn't having more issues than the radiator fan hitting the shroud. While I was under the truck I noticed there was a huge gash running around the inside sidewall of one of my tires. Decided to say screw it and got some 31x10.50r15 BFG KO2's. I had no real problems out of the Falkens but the BFGs were about $50 cheaper in this size for me. -
Early style speedometer cable sources?

I tried the part number you post above and only found Mopar part houses. I can try the other numbers you can give me, but it'll probably be the same result. -
Early style speedometer cable sources?
coheed replied to trailturd's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Resurrecting this thread cause my cable is making an awful clicking noise. Eaglescout, do you happen to know if we can get the 84-86 style cable off Rockauto, or from a parts house? -
Some of the raw steel I buy for our shop at work has been up 500% at times. Unfortunately not surprised at all.

I drove over 3 hours one time to buy a car I found on Facebook as it was exactly what I was looking for. About 15 minutes from the destination the woman told me it had been bought that morning by someone else. Never even mentioned that anyone else was coming to look at it. It's not just a buyer thing.

Core 4x4 vs Rubicon Express UCAs
coheed replied to howeitsdone's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I have Core tier 1's on my truck. Good quality for the price. Welds look nice and hot and the powder coating was done very well. -
That's why I said over stock, not over what it was before the shackles.
-
I have the Belltech's on my truck. They fit fine. Got 1.5" over stock but my leafs are very worn out.

Wish I could still find the picture I took, but when I was in Japan I was walking around some city streets and stumbled upon a PT Cruiser. It was already weird enough cause I didn't expect it, but to add on to that it was... oddly modified. It was originally the plum color and it was a convertible. They had lowered it on a set of CHROME 20's, and it had a sex spec ghost flame paint job over top of the plum factory paint. Was the weirdest vehicle I saw in Japan.

Diesels been steady and $3/gal around me for a while now. Filled the Comanche and the mower for $2.65/gal last weekend.

Here's what I bought. Trailer connector It says it's a custom fit, but let's be real. I also ordered a new FEY bumper cause my stock one will be going on the trailer. I plan on cutting out a hole and mounting this next to the plate instead of hanging down.
-
The receptacle I bought has a 4 pin on one side and the 7 on the other, let me see if I can find it.
-
I've bought a 7 pin for my truck and the Comanche bed trailer I'm building as I want brakes on it. You'll need a stand alone brake controller to utilize the trailer brakes. As far as wiring find what wires do what on the trailer and match them to the corresponding wires when you put the connector on the truck. I plan on making a jumper kinda like @88mjsally does out of a spare tail light harness I have.

coheed replied to Kaiserman's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Yeah I have a factory brush guard and a factory harness on my truck and it reaches the lights fine.
