Cool thanks... I was thinking that As I search for Games I find a few that Are Just PS4 or Just Xbox one which I figured these days everything would be on either system... I was thinking about the TV option but I rarely watch TV and I wouldn't consider watching TV thru the Xbox so I wouldn't use that feature... Title selection for Both systems makes me want to stay with the 360 and same with the price of PS4/One games, kinda expensive and I tend to beat games rather quickly (I ONLY play Normal Level if there is the option and rarely play them a second time) so to cough up $90 for a Game and after maybe a week of actual game play it gets shelved (I Like to keep them in just in case I want to play it all over again of for someone else to play)

I am not a Huge Gamer but From time to time If bored and nothing else to do I will play so I managed to wrangle up a PS4 and upgraded the Xbox 360 to an Xbox one basically got the two systems for the price of one... I tinker and can fix just about anything so I bought a couple broken or they were suppose to be broken (returned to store and auctioned off as broken) and fix them up and playing with them... OK so Why I am starting the thread is Honestly I see them as equals and not sure if I am going to keep both the PS4 and the Xbox One so I just wanted to see who thinks one is better then the other and for what reason and what do you have.. I have a Wii and its fun for the kids (niece and nephew) I have a 360 that I upgraded and like very much but the One and PS4 are so much nicer then the 360 so I am selling the 360 and keeping the newer systems... I know one major advantage for the Xbox One is that by years End it should be backwards Compatible for a bunch of the 360 games so that will be nice for my more expensive games... My list is - Wii - Xbox 360 - Xbox One - PS4 - Colleco Vision (haven't touched it in years) OH and I am Playing these systems on a Samsung 55" LED 3D Smart TV and I find the quality of the two systems to be equal...

Well I have seen the movie and have it downloaded to my HTPC movie collection... It was a Good Movie but by no means should it ever have been called Mad MAX more like just Fury Road and he should have been Frank or Bob as the movie really had nothing to do with him... If they ever decide to do another I hope that they get a NEW Director because I expected soo much more from George Miller since He directed all the other Mad Max movies...

Yup when I had that setup in my MJ I just used 2 PS ZJ cables and they were a little tight on the turn but they worked out fine and I kept the equalizer mount in the same OE location...

ba10/5 to nv3550 conversion
Jeepman replied to thejim42's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Yes or drop the cross member to aid in the clearance... I think If I were to switch to another manual trans I would go 6 speed which is a tight fit and not quite a direct swap in... -
ba10/5 to nv3550 conversion
Jeepman replied to thejim42's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Have done it and its Identical to the AX15 but has better internals I believe the changes were for fuel mileage... However you will have to re-drill the t-case mount at the transmission otherwise the t-case will not be clocked correctly or you can do what I did because the customer didn't want me to drill the trans/t-case mount and drop the t-case with I think it was a 1" spacer... -

Up Here if you take advantage of one of these retire your ride programs the Scrapper can NOT sell anything engine or emissions related and they must get destroyed... Funny thing Is that many people will think about and take advantage of this offer and most of them will be scrapping a perfectly good Vehicle which is a shame but probably more then they would ever get selling it privately... The Retire your ride program we had here for a while was only $300 if you drove It in so $1000.00 I see more going to the crusher...

AX-15 in Late model conversion
Jeepman replied to INjake89mj's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
The vehicle speed sensor otherwise known as the VSS just unbolts and is removable from the t-case so just swap the 92 VSS over to the 98 T-case and be done with it as I think your just over thinking this entire swap... -

Dana 30 and 35 to dana 44 help
Jeepman replied to Jackrabbit41's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Personally I would NEVER install a Ford 8.8 not because its a Ford but because its too narrow for my liking regardless of how cheap you can get them plus with the offset pumpkin... I would likely go 8.25 or larger and the front D30 is perfectly fine but if you truly want a D44 its all fab for a proper D44 in the front... I do not agree with what has been said about the strength of the HP over LP and the only benefits I can agree on is if you need a better driveline angle, the reverse cut gears are more efficient for sure but stronger is purely an opinion... I am Running an 2008 SRT8 D44 rear and a 2000 WJ D30 Variloc front and although my wheeling with this truck has been minimal it is more then capable plus with the wider wheel track and an offset rim the stability is amazing and no need for wheel spacers to correct the width as you can just use rims with the offset you need to get the correct width you want as they are not that much wider then a stock MJ axle... Rear is completely fabricated but the front is practically bolt in... Oh and for those that are interested the 05+ WK's with the 8.25 have a Factory E-locker and are full floating axles however the downside is that they are primarily factory 3:73 gears but being an 8.25 gears are readily available... I would have gone this way if I wasn't after the SRT8 Brembo brakes for my Truck... -
I used one for a Extang tri fold soft from a Colorado/Canyon the Ranger one was to small... This is the only pic I have of mine right now... Image Not Found

Ya I have seen the innova stuff but I have a software package on my laptop that I Use for the more complicated stuff and for the simple stuff I have my Bluetooth adapter and Bluedriver app and clear from my iPhone so this is nice to add to my basic Hand held that is already ODB compliant I just never seen this adapter before now... Interesting info that I will keep in mind when the adapter gets here...
-
its 180ing and stretching it a bit as the MJ sender goes in farther then the XJ but its easy to do...
-
I am going to order that adapter for my Hand held as it is an OBDII/EOBD reader so this adapter should work for it and if not then I will buy this Actron 9145... Thanks for the info...

I am not 100% sure but I think the connector was the same but I definitely did not hard wire mine...
