  1. You might be able to make it work for you as the MJ/XJ ones have been discontinued 53002864 or 53005384
  2. I see but just adding Discs to the rear of the MJ will Make it way better and for the simplicity that's the better option in my opinion, As I went from stock disc/drums in my MJ to a ZJ rear D44A and having 4 wheel discs was a Massive upgrade so unless your MJ is running 35's or larger the Bolt on G2Axle Disc brake kit which is super cheap and a very easy install and will save you thousands over a Wilwood front and rear kit as you won't want to just add big wildwood rear brakes without upgrading the front... I prefer readily available parts so I stuck with Stock SRT8 4 Piston Brembo because they were the stock brakes on my axle upgrade and then with a very easy mod I was able to install the front SRT8 4 piston Brembo calipers up there... If you have the older 84-89 knuckles you can bolt on 4 piston Brembo's to the front with Mustang GT350 front rotors then a G2 rear disc brake kit and will have all the braking you could ever need...
  3. I would say yes a Wilwood kit is a little much and I would just go with a G2 disc brake conversion kit which will give you the braking you desire without costing a fortune and is an easy install with over the counter parts. I understand wanting good brakes as I did 4 piston Brembo brakes all around on my MJ but I did it because of my stroker engine and I used the complete SRT8 D44 that comes factory with the Brembo and mod-Ed the front to match but with big brakes means large rims to clear the brakes as I can not run anything smaller then an 18” rim to clear my brakes.
  4. I think the New Site doesn't allow you to put the Fuelly Banner up at full size anymore as I just tried to add my Commander link and it wouldn't work because the size is larger then 120 so the ones that work are kinda grandfathered in I thnk....
  5. I forgot all about that website, I think I used it once and even added to my sig line but its been forever since I logged in there but my current engine is a stroker so my numbers are probably way higher now, lower for you guys sine your MPG and I am KPL...
  6. Well I don't see how it wouldn't be the 8psi even on a stroker as the as pressure is the pressure regardless of it being a stroker engine but if need be a smaller pulley will gain more boost which I already have a smaller pulley for mine but as for how much of an increase in boost I haven't done the math yet...
  7. I will be adding an Eaton M90 to my 4.7L Stroker engine when I get off my A$$ and get started as I have already done the same for an 05 Jeep 4.0L Rubicon and it was Awesome and the guy Loved it but it wasn't for racing it was for getting 6th gear back as he was 4:10 gears and 37" tires so before the SC the 6 speed was only a 4 speed... If my Truck was a Street ONLY Id try the turbo route but since its not Id rather go SC oh and the Eaton M90 FORD version is very versatile SC and factory boost is 8PSI
  8. Agreed... All they have done is Force me to remove all my photos and stop using them altogether so I too hope this makes them crash and burn...
  9. OK with all the photobucket info going around I am curious... Image Not Found
  10. I am a week too late seeing this show but my truck has been down for the last two weeks getting caught up on things I have been neglecting so maybe next year...
  11. Well I have finished My V8 Swap for my customer and forgot about this thread... I was able to make new mounts that lower the engine enough to clear the hood and enough room the exhaust clears the inside frame rails... All has worked out great so Far.. This is a link to all the pics I took of my build if it can help someone else out there then great... Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found
  12. I have no use for a 4 Door Truck, If I wanted one I would buy a Ram... The problem I see with his is that The JK was designed primarily towards off-roading and the modifications we make to our Offroad Jeeps however when the 4 door sold like crazy they switched back to sales mode and are NOT building what the people want they are building something they will sell to non Jeep people to literally get butts in the seats... Personally I feel that Jeep has let us down with this truck especially since ever concept but maybe one has been either a cab and a half or just a single cab and I believe that's what the people want since that's what we have all been talking about since 2005 when they introduced us to the JK and the Gladiator concept... I feel the 4 door truck comes from the fact that AEV had there JK pickup that people were stupidly buying at $60,000-$80,000 which converted Jeep into going with the 4 door so they can continue raping the public like they currently are with these $40,000 JK's... I will go back to my plan of building my own JK truck and forget all about ever buying a New Jeep truck...
  13. I thought carparts was a listing service for junkyards. They sell new parts, too? What are the length and width measurements on your tank? There are two different sites.. car-part.com which is junkyard and then, carparts.com which is new parts...
  14. There are Dual battery kits you can buy that will fit directly in place of the air box... Bleepin Jeep has a YouTube video as well
  15. I thought that only works for 1990 and newer interesting...
  16. I do just this using a Standard dash mount A/F guage and I bought a cheap one from Glowshift and the cables are long enough to plug everything in and slide the 02 into the tailpipe which works great for tuning carbs especially 4.2L computer controller carbs... http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/ This is the one I bought a few years back http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/Elite-Series-Wideband-Air-Fuel-Gauge.aspx I run an autometer A/F in my MJ but thisis perfect for tuning...
  17. Most of them are longer... Do your homework before buying to ensure you're getting the right ones. I have pretty much sold and installed ALL brands and they are NOT any longer unless they are adjustable when talking Jeep XJ/MJ/ZJ/TJ... Stock and aftermarket are 15.75" I think if memory serves me correctly today... I have RE ones. I recommended RE ones. RE ones are 16", which is .25" longer than stock. You are correct that 15.75" is stock. I will not comment on other arms as I have only ever measured RE fixed ones. Ok Good to know technically they are longer even though .25" I have a set of RE arms coming in next week as was going to measure again since its been a while since I first measured them...

  19. Not sure why people think aftermarket tubular replacement arms are any longer then stock because they are not unless they are adjustable and the benefits to aftermarket arms is the tubular design which is stronger and easier to swap bushings, yes you get a little more droop out of the tubular arms but that's because the tube is lower down closer to the centerline of the bushing then the OE arms are... The main reasons I mention the WJ arms: - Cheap - easy to get - come with bushings installed - offset with a bend to fit larger wheels with stock or aftermarket rims - stronger then OE U channel I personally have never run them but have sold lots to people that want a quick cheap option...
  20. Go WJ arms as they are Cheap and Easy to install plus they still have that stock feel...
  21. From what I have found in my research, the LWB and SWB rear cables ('splitter' bracket to the drums) are the same length. The bracket is mounted further back on the LWB allowing for the same length in the rear section on both. The front sections (from the cab to the 'splitter' bracket) are what are different between them. I know the brackets are mounted further but the box is not extended by adding some at the end so I figure it should still be 5-6" longer then a short bed... late model XJ PS cables should work too since they use one long and one short... I am pretty sure I used XJ cables when I did my first 4.5" lift but that was nearly a decade ago and no longer have paperwork... The early liberty's had drum brakes and you can always check those cable lengths as well... OH and http://www.dormanproducts.com/default.aspx has lengths
  22. You can always use Long box MJ cables if your still drums but they might be too long..

    Vin decoder

That's an AX15 if you have a 6cyl manual if you have a 4Cyl manual then its an AX5
  24. Uh that's cuz Gas stations used to be full serve so they didn't care about your convenience, if they still do it today then they are idiot designers for sure... My friends 03 Sonoma has the arrow pointing the wrong way...
  25. I have been looking to find good engine mount pics of Mopar V8 swaps with little success, its trial and error at this point, raise the trans and lower the engine in 1/2 inches at a time...
