  1. Going for a different look on the Comanche-> I may have to lower the truck but the ride quality will be much better!
  2. You probably have already got the rca cables run, but here’s what I found works. The area behind the radio is pretty limited on space, but as fiatslug87 said it’s very much doable. I used an electricians fish tape to pull all my wires through, but a coat hanger will work just fine. Tape the wire to the end of the coat hanger and feed the other end down and out of the dash. Then all you have to do is pull it all out
  3. Just submitted mine
  4. Is legit? Is it a way to get and sell your information?
  5. Just an awesome truck! Well deserved MJOTM.
  6. Now that the expanding foam was sanded to match the contoured of the backing board, I am ready to glue the fabric on -> Sprayed the adhesive on the board and the headliner material and then carefully smoothed out the material -> Yes - success -> Placed the Sun visors up against the new material and it was noticeably faded -> Tried to see if the SEM paint would get it close but not close enough -> Just going to have to redo those too. I’m just not in the mood to take on that job now, so it is a project for another day. TBC
  7. ** Drahcir495 Part Two ** I have officially started to resurrect the truck. I tackled the headliner over the last day and a half. As I said earlier, I was able to get a headliner board from Buxmj - thanks again Buck . The headliner board was in amazing condition-> I had two small damaged areas -> I also wanted to smooth out the tears and divots where the material would glue to. Found this in the garage, but I don’t know exactly what it is intended for? I would guess drywall tape -> I use the headliner spray glue I picked up from Joann’s Fabric -> to adhere the drywall tape over the damaged parts -> I moved on to repairing the missing board pieces -> Then I used the tape to create a backing for the expanding foam to set up against -> I can’t remember who’s buildup page that I got the idea to use expanding foam, but . (Found it - USN_JeepMJ’s build up page) Filled the areas with the foam and cut and sanded it to match the original lines -> It came out pretty darn good. ** I ran out of room for pictures, so I will have to continue it on the next reply - tbc

  10. Thanks Bo . It’s turned into a positive since seeing how bad of condition it was in. I enjoy working on projects, so I’m going to enjoy this. Revamping Onyx! That is going to be fun to follow

  15. There is a lot to say about what you have done to your truck - in a very positive way. The key locks and door panels are two of the highlights for me. Nicely done
  16. Just curious - what do you have planned for the truck?
  17. I enjoyed reading this How do you like the NP242? I have it in my XJ and really like it. I had read somewhere that it is not a good fit behind a manual transmission, so I decided against it. Depending on what you think, I may start to reconsider?
  18. When I put the glass in it will slide a little front and to the rear. I will need to get them to stay put?
  19. I went to the pick n pull and picked up two of the wing window channel ?? pieces. The are in excellent shape -> My question is how do you secure the glass back into the channel? Could I use this? ->
  20. That is nice to hear - I will look for his build and check it out
