Is there a specific type of resin to use? I have no experience with that. I was directed to a thread by usn_jeepmj from another member. He used some expanding foam to build up an area for an overhead console. He sanded it smooth and used a two part epoxy to stiffen it up.

Took the headliner out of the Comanche today. The mice destroyed it -> The nest they built out of the headliner board -> Now, I have to make plans to find a replacement

I spent a little time test fitting the shifter boot because I thought that maybe the switch plate would interfere with it going in. The plate was a bit larger and slightly creeped into the opening but it worked without issue-> I cleaned it up after -> This is as clean as I could get the arm rest. The mold was too ingrained into the material -> Sure, I could’ve put a few coats of paint on it but I'm just going to use the one with the Tuffy lock box from in the XJ. The arm rest on it is already modified to work, so I will hit it with the SEM shadow blue paint and it will be perfect . Besides, I already have the arm rest in gray to put back into the Cherokee.

I went down to the shop to get the center console and a few other items I can work on while the Jeep is being worked on. I couldn’t figure out why the headliner looked bumpy-> just happened to look under the sun visor and found that a mouse had eaten a hole in the headliner -> Great . . . Not sure if it can be repaired? Need to go down this week and drop it to check out the damage

I did a search before I asked and saw the group buy thread. I think $350 is too much but mine has been destroyed by mice so not sure what to do?

Is there anyone making the headliner boards? I don’t need one with fabric. Just need the board the fabric goes onto.

**Start of Rebuild** I hated how I butchered up the center console with the idiotic Eaton E-locker switches and then cutting the front of the console insert to fit the CB in -> I didn't know enough about switches back then to realize I could use regular rocker switches instead of the ones that came with the lockers . I think I got the Idea from NickinTime to get a three rocker switch plate to put in the coin holder of the console insert. I already did this to the Cherokee and very happy with it. I grabbed a insert from an XJ and replaced the parking brake slot with a block off plate from a factory MJ. I cut out the bottom of the coin slot to get the three switches to drop into place -> Test fitting the switch panel -> Lined it up, drilled the holes for the four screws and secured it with 4 stainless bolts -> Painted the bolts black which looks a lot better

I think I found it but it’s rusted and seized up. I forgot it was left outside . Working on getting it freed up and then to work to remove the rust, replacing the U-joints and then painting it.

That was very helpful. Ant tips on taking the cover off the board? I assume it also has adhesive inside towards the center?
