  1. The door panel backing board ?? is pretty much toast for the lower clips to hold in. Is there any recommendation on how to fix this?
  2. Here is where I put mine following cwlongshots example
  3. Oh boy, I will be looking for more
  4. I agree, cool looking truck! Great to see something different in a build. Congratulations on Comanche of the month.
  5. I like that a lot. They are sold out in my size though
  6. There is a really nice MJ t-shirt on Etsy. I can’t take credit for what my wife found
  7. Yep, when I used the 3M super 77 on the XJ it sagged too. You really need to post this in the DIY section too. I would be very helpful to others
  8. Yeah, I was thinking the blue to match the radio and switches. I like the green though, so that would be fine.
  9. I was going to ask if you were able to change the display color! I think I am going to do the LED lights, so thanks for the link to that.
  10. Well Done! I had a good time redoing mine too. I would have used a dremel wheel on mine if I had seen someone do this before. Thank you for sharing
  11. I think you are doing the right thing!
  12. The Cherokee will be going up for sale after I get a few things fixed. I am going to keep my Comanche and this would have to be stored on the property rotting away like the MJ unfortunately did. Here will be the ad I place on BaT or something similar. I haven’t taken pictures yet because I’m presently out of town. I started to get the ad written up, so I will prep it here so when I am ready I can cut and paste it where I decide to list it. I have to research what to list it at. I can't total what I have in it to compare to what it is worth. Just a bad idea to do. 13. Thank you for the information. I was wondering if they wrote out the ad. I don't like that it takes that long to get listed. I have just spent a few hours yesterday highlighting everything that has been done to it, what it needs, and any extras that go with it. I will really have to figure out what I should price it at. I will not be totaling up what I have in it - it is an obscene amount that I will never get back. I built it intending for it to be my last Jeep. I want to put a reserve price for sure, but I have to realistic which is going to hurt
  14. I thought I would just park the Cherokee on the parents property (just what they love to hear ) so I can hang on to it . After seeing what happened to the Comanche after sitting, I won't be keeping it just to watch it waste away. My question is where would be a good place, in addition to the for sale section of a Cherokee forum, to list the Jeep? I have seen the Bring a Trailer auction site as an option. Anyone have any feedback on going this route? The reason I want to sell it this way because I don't know where to start with pricing it? I don't want to start another "what is it worth" tread and just let the bidders set the selling price. Ideally, I would sell it for what I have in it, but I can't imagine totaling it up . Question - a good place to sell the Cherokee??
  15. How can you not like that body style .
  16. I'm in Wisconsin right now so I will have to check that when I get home.I do know it has a cold air intake and throttle body spacer if that can tell you anything?
  17. Definitely puts all things in perspective. I think I have the HO head, intake and throttle body on it from the swap IIRC? Don't remember all the details since its been at least 10 years since I did it. You are a wealth of knowledge for sure - thank you. You saved me close to 2k.
  18. Thanks for the advice Cruiser Really went down a rabbit hole with the YouTube video's
  19. Good point! I have another Renix computer in my spare parts bin that I have no idea where it got it?? I will be grabbing them out of the junk yards when I find them. I'm so glad that I come here for advice . . . backing slowly from the edge
  20. Yep, I had to keep a lot to get the new motor to work in the jeep
