  1. I didn't see the Rubicon in the post
  2. It depends on the look you’re going for. I like white letters out on smaller tires for a classic look-but I always have mine inside. Pinned down, I would say IN.
  3. Another Floridian? Can you tell if they are both D44’s. And do they have the lockers in them?
  4. Dang and I don’t have either of them to look at. Well, I will have to go another direction then. I bought some steel to make one myself. I just need to find out if it’s still at my friends house. Thanks Pete
  5. That’s something I never thought of. They are mounted on the Cherokee with I believe with two feet and the pinch sleeve
  6. Lol - not good when I am about to go back to stick shifting
  7. Ouch. Not even running - geeze. I have only used it a couple times for the 10 years I've owned it. I thought hmmm I should get more than the eye and ear protection on, but I wasn't going to be doing much - I've got this. Will definitely be thinking about that next time
  8. I was thinking about taking the rock sliders off of my Cherokee and putting them on the Comanche and looking for opinions. The thing is they will not be long enough to go the full length of the sides. I've mocked up in green about where the rail would start and stop -> This is how they look on a Cherokee -> This is what got me thinking about it ->
  9. I know, I should have known better. Lotto lol. Yes I should get me a pair for Christmas! I had protective eye ware on but shorts and sketchers on duh. In my defense, we don’t do a lot of chainsaw work here. I haven’t used on in 5 years at least
  10. Got out the chainsaw so I can cut the hedge down to a manageable level. I needed to pull out a branch that was intertwined in the the rest of the uncut shrubs. I relaxed my other arm that had the chainsaw in. The chain was still spinning and it caught the front of my shoe 😳. Felt like a real idiot. Dayeem did I luck out ->
  11. Lol could they at least used a ford truck bed on it
  12. Geeze, I can’t remember what auto parts store around here (advanced auto??) has axles delivered to us , but they use a pretty sweet composite box to ship them in. I can figure out who on Monday if you need me to? It’s a pretty steep deposit on the container as I recall, so you are compelled to get them back lol.
  13. Look at how sweet that Comanche is - triple
  14. How do you get so much detail in them? I end up knocking teeth out of mine while making them lol.
  15. I can relate to this one! So funny
  16. Looks like a very nice junk yard save. Can’t wait to see what’s next
  17. Wow - just read all 15 pages and there was so much I would have liked to comment on lol. Better late than never! Well done .
  18. Putting these seals in requires that you take out the differential and axles. Then you can press them into the tubes. It will be a challenge getting them in without at least an aluminum puck. Just use a long rod to send down the tubes to knock them in. If you do go to put those in, let me know and I can help you with more details.
  19. I’m sure someone will be able to answer that for you I’m sure someone will be able to answer that for you. I’m just going by my thinking and not experience.
  20. Is the jute the blanket looking material? I didn’t put any under my carpet, because my thinking is it will hold water and rust the metal behind it ? I am still working on finding the leaks in mine l, so it still seeped rust into the carpet ruining it. I believe it would have been much worse with the padding in.
  21. Glad to hear that you’re father is on the mend.. That is something that those kids will always remember you by! I have to agree ( ) great uncle.
  22. Working my way through all of the pages and pretty awesome. That tire carrier is sweet
  23. That dual connector is very cool. Thank you for all the advice . I’m leaning towards the 4 pin connector.
