  1. I didn’t notice that until you brought it up .
  2. Pretty cool Christmas gift - newer XJ front end, but close enough ->
  3. Marvelous mystery oil helped free up a driveshaft that was left outside for years. Yep, I would be worried about shearing the head off the bolt too with that much force.
  4. I agree Mini Beast. I enjoyed it up until the air out of the blow up mattress leaked out . Had to head in at 5am with my son who said it was too cold to stay out any longer. Great time though.
  5. Getting ready to camp out tonight in the back yard with Trey and the dogs -> My wife is having nothing to do with it and will be having a free night binging Unexpected on TLC. She will be in the comfort of the air conditioning and supportive mattress while my glass back is on the blow up mattress in the Florida humidity. Not sure if it’s going to be cool enough out but we are committed to doing it!
  6. Still need to get some wrenching in even though I don’t have the Comanche to work on. A couple of friends met up to put a lift kit on his 2002 TJ. He had the Rough Country 2.5” lift kit. He already had 31” tires and needed a little lift to complete the look. Before the lift -> And after -> It took three of us about 7 hours to complete including pizza and wings. When it was all said and done it gained 3.5” in the front and 4” in the rear. This lift will settle in and probably get down to the 2.5” range that is advertised . He called me when he made it home and I could hear the smile over the phone. The Jeep drove great and looked good too.
  7. That is great to hear
  8. 320 miles is very impressive
  9. After my 383 stroker motor blew up, I needed to get another small block to replace it. I found a 1987 Iroc Camaro with a running motor and drove it until I could pull the motor out of it. Just keeping this one mainly stock for now. I had this motor in my CJ7 that I have going up for sale, so I pulled it out to put it into the Scrambler. Then I bought a used engine hoist and pulled it out of the CJ -> It was still daylight when I got it free -> It started to get dark soon after, but I was committed to getting it done. In hindsight I should have enlisted help putting it in, but I managed to get it in on my own -> Having the grill and fenders off helped out for sure -> Much later it was in-> Sold the cherry picker later in the week since I didn't plan on doing anything like this again . TBC
