loi Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 probably not very fast, it looks like he got t-boned
Pete M Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 since our trucks tend to rot from the inside-out (bed, rockers, floor, etc), lining the whole thing would likely just promote more problems then it would save in scrapes from tree branches.
shelbyluvv Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 yeah i figured it was something like that, there are no scapes, just impact. anyone have pics of a rhino lined/linexed com? i don't just mean the bed, i mean the body and cab as well. seen plenty of other cars and trucks and jeeps, no comanches though. Look in the Projects Forum for "tough truck", they are bed lining the poor thing.
loi Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 mj metal isnt magical. if its prepped properly it wouldnt rust if it was lined
Pete M Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 how are you planning on lining the inside of the uniframe? inside the rockers? at least the floor can be dealt with... assuming it hasn't started rotting already. Our trucks rot from the inside-out. It's hard to combat that. :(

baldntatted Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 seen this one on a truck sale site in Nashville http://www.cargeni.com/car-detail/1988- ... 04126.html
H3RESQ Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 seen this one on a truck sale site in Nashville http://www.cargeni.com/car-detail/1988- ... 04126.html I saw this one too. I can't believe the "negotiable" price...lol 15k and its got 154k on the odometer. Even if it had 30-40k original miles and original paint and grandpa owned it would be double over priced.
baldntatted Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 yeah i though that was a lot of money. You can tell it's a dealer lol dude is trying to get rich.
streetjeep2.5 Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Is this way-overpriced-repainted-and-probably-hiding-some-problems comanche still for sale?????
mj Mike Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Jeep - Hesco truck The HESCO "delivery" truck. This Jeep has a supercharged 4.9L stroker engine. It is a 2WD with a 727 automatic and Dana 44 rear end. http://www.hesco.us/customergallery.asp?action=form&formID=1725&recordID=90227
codymanche Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 that yellow one looks like there is fiberglass fenders that can't be stock
H3RESQ Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 that yellow one looks like there is fiberglass fenders that can't be stock There not, they are flared fenders and bedsides. Common use is on prerunners (like the blue one on this page) Nice touch. Looks like a sick truck with motor/tranny combo. Its ugly in my opinion though. Could however look better if it was any color than yellow and had some updated wheel tire package.
