1990 Pioneer Big Ton Auto 4.0 4x4 D44 what trans comes in this? ive only put 4k on the truck, needless to say I'm not too pleased, but what ever. someone is gonna get a deal on a comanche with a rebuilt trans. if anyone on here wants to buy the truck hit me up, otherwise I'm putting a rebuilt unit in it and craigslisting it for whatever i can possibly get. it will also have a new exhaust as the one thats on it rotted through in 3 places, and dome lights that work, mirrors that work, backup lights that work, turn signals that work, over drive that works, a functioning idle air control that works, and all the speakers functioning correctly - none of which did it have when i purchased it. take it for what it is. i will also have repaired both rockers.

the one in daves just died. need a new trans. if anyone has a reliable low mileage or rebuilt by a professional unit please let me know, i need one asap.

i had to change a water pump on a grand cherokee in a similar situation. i work on motorcycles in what amounts to closet space. it could be worse.

thinking about picking up a 96 4.0 auto with 150k 2/4 hi/lo that needs a rad (leaky, no overheating) and brake pads, thats it. i am thinking i should put a rad in it and either flip it, or drive it like i want to kill it, since i can't really do that to the comanche i am picking up from jpdocdave if someone else on here wants it, i would be more inclined to buying it as opposed to this mighty max i am thinking of picking up and flipping. personally i would throw some beefier more badass tires on it, and spray paint skulss all over it and turn it into an urban assualt rig. i dunno

i was riding back from bfe pennsylvania - motorcycle - to dc mid summer and pulled into a gas station to get some gas. as i got off the bike a newer model ford suv pulled in facing my bike at the pump next to mine. a typically attractive girl got out, not blond, and started to pump gas. i told her her blinker fluid was low. she looked at me like i was retarded, and i pointed at her left front blinker and said you are running low on blinker fluid. she looked at it, and it was filled about 3/4 of the way with water. it wasnt cracked or damaged in anyway visible, but was clearly full of water. she was like wtf.... and i got my gas and left.

Well I found the Comanche I want for 25, and an r/t with 60k Seems stupid to pass up the r/t. Might just get the r/t to flip. Anyone here lookin for an r/t?

speeding isnt always stupid. this dude keeps flaking on me, and i found an r/t on craigslist rather cheap, with half the miles, and its not a scam. if its still for sale i may just snatch that up. i like top speed. the only reason i don't have an srt-10 ram is i just plain don't like them. the newer ram style dakota isnt my bag either, but i can't seem to nail down a second gen dak with a 5.9 in it.

just curious how you like them compared to a comanche. i am picking up my first dakota tomorrow. 2wd long bed reg cab auto. i still want a nice comanche, and am kicking myself for not buying the best one ive ever seen for 1400, so i am still on the hunt. i feel like once i find the right com - 4x4 long bed auto 4.0, stroker, or v8 custom (the guy on here won't sell me his) i won't want the dak anymore. either way should be a fun truck to have. it has peeling white paint, so it may get a flat black repaint, and its def getting some blacked out alum rims.
