Lots to like on this one, but there are several significant issues that held it back from that kind of money...

 

240k miles

No A/C

Significant crack in dash and paint flaws

I'm super happy with the sale.

 

The dash crack was probably what bothered me the most. The 240k miles wasn't. The service notes show an oil change at least every 3k, some even less. Not to mention it recently passed CA smog on the first try. It runs very strong.

Being 2WD no AC keeps it from being a 20k Jeep in my mind

20k woulda been a moonshot.  Given that the undercarriage was largely untouched it seemed closer to a tastefully maintained survivor than a restomod.  New owner still has some work to do ($$$$).
