kansashogan
Amazing work. Hats off to you. I know what $ I have in my build and you are surely way over that. Hopefully she runs and drives perfectly so you can enjoy it.

Limeyjeeper
So I made some tailgate bumpers from a set of 83-93 S10 tailgate bumpers from LMC Truck Part No 29-1420. I then had to cut them down but they ended up pretty similar to the factory ones. Turned out pretty well. They have a metal backing to them just like the factory ones. Tapped an M6 thread in the rivet hole and used a button head bolt. Throttle and accelerator cables in for the final time. Made the Cruise Control cable as previously mentioned. Fits great. Door locks are in. What a pain. The 91-92 also has a different rod connecting the lock to the key cylinder. Got it figured out eventually. You will need rod part no 55074922 (3). One thing I didn't mention with the AC hookup is the use of reduced barrier hose. Thoroughly recommend it. Far easier to work with as it is much thinner but has the same properties as traditional hose I would also recommend this AC tool. On Amazon igeelee hydraulic hose crimper. It is very easy to use and $150. Can be used for AC (Barrier and reduced barrier) and PS hoses. So much easier. If anybody needs to get the sway bar link lower bolt out. This is the best way to do it. Use a small puller. Works like a charm. Still doing wiring. I keep getting distracted by small jobs like shortening the rock light wires, so I don't have a mountain of spare cable. Don't really know why I am even installing them. Had them on my other Comanche for a while. They looked cool.. That is about the only reason I can come up with.

Limeyjeeper
Refurbished the wipers with a new motor and bushings and reinstalled them. Had to change the motor connector with a Deutsch connector as my harness and motor had different plugs. Also decided to upgrade the secondary door seals to the 97+ version. They are much more substantial and should help reduce the door pillar noise. Had to mount a 1/2 x 1/2 strip of aluminum on the A Pillar. Then mounted the seal. It is basically the same as the door seal. Front Clip is on. Just waiting on the "Jeep" sticker for the Front Clip from Spencer PRP seats in final installed position. Haven't fully locked in the dash in case I need to get to the harness. Engine fully buttoned up. Next job testing the wiring harness then exhaust. Once that is done she will be ready to fire up. Getting closer....

Yeah, that's the part that took the longest on my build too. But, once they're working good and well built like you're doing, they shouldn't be any problems with it later. :)

Limeyjeeper
I took a piece of 1/2 x 1/2 aluminum and cut one side in four places so I could bend it to contour the door frame. I then drilled holes to match the existing holes in the door frame. I used plastic retainers to hold the strip. At the top it is very tight so I clipped one side off the top of the retainer so the hole could be tight up against the bend on the aluminum angle. You need enough space for the back of the trim. Also because the retainers have a low profile it let's the seal sit down properly on the aluminum edge.

Limeyjeeper
Fighting through the wiring. Figuring out really quick how inaccurate Jeep wiring diagrams are. All LS wiring looks good. No voltages where they shouldn't be. Headlights, taillights, turn signals, backup lights, fogs, high beam all good. Brand new Standard Products headlight switch lasted about 8 hours. Got a Mopar one on order. Why do we think the Chinese can build anything that has even remotely good quality? Got an issue with the wipers. Only working on high speed. Gota be the delay module Instrument panel working well. All gauges except tach and speedometer working. Can't test those until I fire the motor. Interior lights coming on with headlights grrrr. Just gotta keep maintaining my patience. I will get to the bottom of every issue. It is just so time consuming. However with so much new and modified wiring I am not naive enough to think it would be perfect. I would just like to thank who ever invented the power probe. Pure genius. fiatslug87
and are electric fans necessary for it to fit or will the stock set-up work?
Limeyjeeper
Boostwerks Hidden winch works well. I used dual factory fans. YOu can use the stock setup with the winch.

Red Mistress
Pics of it installed :) He's got Chevy engine so that doesn't help with stock engine. I've seen them fit stock engine, but less than 1/4" from harmonic balancer
