I bought a 3" rough country lift kit. For what I'll use the truck for this will work just fine. I can't spend alot of money on the truck with my second kiddo on the way. I'll continue to do stuff here and there. I hope the 4x4 swap and paint are next but itll prolly take a year to get there. The kit arrived today and I was able to get an hour in. The bolts are rusty and old on the rear springs, prolly never been removed so it took awhile to make progress. With my baby sleeping above the garage I wasn't able to use power tools which slowed me up a bit. Hope to get to it tomorrow.

Took me six hours spread out over a few days to get it done. Thanks to some members advice or it would have been longer. First photo 3" lift and 31s. Second, the day I brought it home.

Look good i have same planning with 3" with 31s also i have same rims, but in long bed also my is 2wd but i have everything ready to swap, right now I'm working on my XJ to get regear with ford 8.8. So how do it ride with RC kits?

Got my bumper pulled, alot easier than I thought it would be. Need some supplies but I plan on stripping it, priming and painting it. I bought a rattle can of my trucks paint to tackle the tailgate and surface rust spots next.

Two people can carry it, 3 or 4 is much easier

I can now vouch for that. :L:  I've picked up and moved 2 of them inside 2 weeks.  never picked up one before that in 20 years of MJ ownership.

My daughter and I went for a couple hour drive out past Bonney Lake and into the mountains near Mount Rainier. It rained most of the time but was nice to be out of the house and town. We saw four elk crossing the road, 2 cows 2 calves, no other wildlife. Took a couple photos along the way.
