revmaynard Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 My companies owner picked this up recently to add to his collection. It's a late '91 production year with just shy of 38K miles on it, all original. I was talking to lowrange2 about it on Facebook and told him I'd post some pictures up. Enjoy!
JCole Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Wow.......You will never see a more factory truck in better shape than that
revmaynard Posted January 28, 2016 Author Posted January 28, 2016 Yea it's a beauty. It took forever to find a late model example this clean. He just bought the 60th anniversary xj behind it this week. Glad one is being preserved somewhere!
cruiser54 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Still has the crayon mark on the valve cover. I remember those.

I've never seen an MJ body so straight. You work for Omix-ADA? I am sorry. :ack: Rob I'm not, pays well and I get to work with Jeeps/Jeepers. :brows: Yea it's a beauty. The 91 is a 50th Jeep anniversary truck. Guess your boss is collecting one of each? He tries to collect nice representations of each model or rare/low mileage ones. He's got about 35 in his collection now, with 3 of the preWWII prototypes. That truck is beautiful... . :MJ 1: . It really is, I don't know if burgundy interior grew on me, or I just love how clean it is. :rotf:
schardein Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Late model 91 giveaway, the washer fluid bottle is on the pass side. My 91 had it next to the brake booster. I grabbed what I think of as a "92 and up" one from the junkyard but then went with the late model XJ inside the fender version. My truck also has the burgundy interior and it has grown on me also! Great truck and also great pictures! Thanks for posting.

Mine used to be next to the booster also.
91Pioneer Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 My 91 has the bottle by the booster. I may move it or install the XJ passenger side on when I install the 96 booster I have.
Strokermjcomanche Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I have a 92 washer bottle if you need one
daking Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 That is real nice! I've been looking for something like that for awhile now.
NHMJXJ Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I've seen them in better shape. Of course, it was 1993 when that happened.
