1987 Comanche. My first vehicle
Jackrabbit41 replied to Jackrabbit41's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
Here’s some old photos. Got this thing when I was 15, I’m 26 now. Done so much work to it over the years. It’s my baby. I beat on it now. -

Lost my thread that I started when I first got this Comanche! Been fixing my track bar tonight because I broke it off this weekend and decided I should update my build for the first time in at least 6 years. Wish I could find my original! Here’s my rig! Thanks y’all. If anyone Evers sees my original build post it’s called like 1987 Comanche first car or something. Thanks y’all!

I have a High pinion Dana 30 from a 95 Cherokee in my Comanche. I want to get a locker for it. Have buddies that run rachet lockers and say they’re fine. I see online about some LSD for Dana 30s. Anyone ever try one? Or and cheaper selectable options out there? Also wondering what spline count and any other info I’d need to order the correct locker based on my axle set up. Thanks y’all. Haven’t posted on here in forever

So i need to do my fuel pump and i found a write up on here with these part numbers. Just wanted to see if this stuff looks right to you guys. when I look up the Airtex number, it gives me a fuel strainer rather then a fuel pickup kit. Any ideas? Bosch 69302 fuel pump kit Airtex FS104 fuel pickup kit Spectra Lo01 Lockring Kit w/seal Thanks!

I don’t see any 2 blade white connectors. Is it that plug going into where those vaccums lines are hooked up too? -

Jackrabbit41 replied to Jackrabbit41's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
It used to idle fine but wouldn’t move under load very well. Now, as in today, it hardly starts and when it does start it sputters then dies. To me the motor sounds like it’s not getting fuel but I'm really not sure. I will check what you said tokorrow after work -

Isnt the cps just spark? Ive gone through that a few years ago when I did my tranny for the 3rd time and it jsut caused no spark, but I have plenty of spark -

Its from just some random gas station in town so I really don't know but I dummed three cans of sea foam in it lol -
1987 Renix 4.0. It sat for a month and I went to start it and it hardly runs and I drove it 50 feet to my driveway and it died 7 times. I have fuel pressure ( just checked it by pushing the bleeder), I gave it a tune up ( New spark plugs, wires and cap), spark is good, did the fuel filter, nothing ever made it better. Not sure where to go from here. Owned this thing 7 years and I never have to work on the motor so really not sure where to go. My vaccum lines look good too, and I tried unplugging the IAC and when I did that nothing changed so thinking maybe thats bad? Thanks yall
