  1. Hey all, been along time since ive been on here, good to be back! anyway, i got a buddy selling some king 2.5 air shocks 16" travel. They are massive, but I'm buying them and putting them on my jeep. The ole Comanches about to go to a whole new level. I have to relocate my air box, windshield washer tank, and all my wiring by the battery. I also need uni-body stiffeners so that the shock hoops that will be going up to almost the hood have a strong place to mount. I just ordered Cherokee front uni-body stiffeners from ruff-stuff, and now I am trying to figure out what to do with my stock intake. What is the simplest set up I can do to save the most room, and what lines do i need to plug? Thanks everyone!
  2. Yeah I thought about 1 tons but Id need new wheels and I think itd be cheaper for me to just do a 44. Probably going to wait till the swap meet here in WA in Puyallup on march 10 and find a dana 44
  3. I want to run 37s and yeah I know all that but still want a 44
  4. yeah i've kinda been tossing around that idea but would cost more money that i don't have haha!
  5. So looking for a front dana 44 for my comanche now. Got some questions and wanting some advice. First of all, but rigs will have a dana 44 with my bolt pattern and driver drop and same width? I know theyre rare but just trying to do my homework. Now, I got a buddy selling fully built mathcing dana 44s with RCVs, lockers, 4.56s, and trussed and set up for a 3 link for 3,000$. Do yall think I should just go with that? I just don't need a rear 44 because I have a ford 8.8 already and I also don't want to just go and drop 3,000$ right now. Thanks yall!
  6. Haven't posted on here for a long time. Kinda of sad, I used to do so much to my comanche. Now I got some new stuff lined up though. Buying a PSC hydro set up when I get my tax return and now looking for a front dana 44. I want a selectable locker and 37s by august. Going to completely re do my suspension in the next few months. Long arms, maybe front coil overs, we shall see. Just starting to research but I am excited to get back into it again.
  7. So I've been neglecting my comanche awhile and need to do some steering upgrades and first i want to do a pump. What upgrades can I do? Ive seen the 01 grand Cherokee 4.7 upgrade. Anyone have any details on that? Once I get my tax return I'm getting a PSC box and hydro assist set up but right now just want to do a pump upgrade. Thanks yall I got a 1987 with the renix 4.0
  8. So does it bolt straight in?
  9. Wanting to do the Durango steering box upgrade. My stock box is giving out here after 250,000 miles. What year Durango box should I go buy, I want new, and what else will I need? Thanks y’all. Haven’t posted on here in forever!

  12. Broke two different vacuum lines doing my water pump. What are these for? One of them kills the motor during hard braking so I plugged it off and now I have no problems. Should I replace these lines or just cap them off and don’t worry about it? One of them goes into the back of the air boxes and the other I’m not sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I just wasn't sure if theyd weep before theyre dead or when theyre dead
  14. Ya ive done that, and its the water pump weeping
  15. That is exactly what mine looks like. Literally the exact thing
  16. Just noticed some of my posts dissappered, like my very first update to this thread. Its to bad because I had good pics of it when I got it.
  17. After my jeep sits for about 3-4 hours it leaks coolant. All the hoses are new and tight, they arent leaking, so I'm thinking the waterpump is weeping, although it is still functioning. Will waterpumps weep even if they arent bad?
  18. I don’t know i thought I got it lol. It was 2 years ago. Coulda sworn I did but maybe not lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. General spring is the $#!&. I got my leafs in 3 days, free shipping
  20. I know this is probably just a debate topic, but I'm curious to hear peoples opinions on running 10-30/10-40 compared to 15-40. I've always ran 10-30 and 10-40 but recently I switched to 15-40. Same oil i put in my cummins. My jeep has the original motor with 250,000+ miles on it (1987 Comanche, 4.0l) so I feel like that thicker oil is a lot better due to the larger clearances present in the motor after so many miles on stock internals. And I also hated how I used to drain my oil and the 10-30 just looks so thin, almost like water, draining out. Whereas the diesel oil looks so much better. Ever since I started running it, I haven't noticed any differences, as i would have thought, but it just gives me peace of mind.
  21. Last time I was going over Snaqualmie pass, my jeep tried to kill me. I got death wobble bad, and that was the first time I've ever had it. Every bump after that I would tense up so hard. I was very nervous. The next day, after work here in Ellensburg, I pulled my Jeep into the shop and just about everything was loose on the front end, and the track bar was about to fall off. I tightened everything up and also through on a new wheel bearing. I forgot how much fun it is working on my jeep. Its so easy and i feel like I know how to fix everything on it now. I sure have learned a lot from it. I also just started running the 15w-40 in my jeep too. I like the thicker oil better, and my dodge takes the same so i always have some on hand
