My vote goes to August.

Badlands is in (up against really) Attica, Indiana. The Illinois border is about 15 or so miles away.

To be more specific, sometime in early August would probably be best for me. Might get a chance to stuff some more fun things into the MJ by that point :brows:

Our school starts in mid August so I'd be happy with the first weekend..... "August in Attica"..... kinda catchy.....

I am off work that first weekend. so yes it would be ideal for me as well, as I wouldn't have to use much vacation time. I work every other weekend.

YES, I have my schedule for next year already lol.

Looking like its going to be August then. At this point I don't really see a need to do a poll on this. As stated, everyone who has posted seems fine with August. As for the actual date in August, I don't care personally but if anyone isn't fine with the first weekend or even August for that matter, speak now or hold your peace! Lol. I just want everyone (who is serious) to have a fair chance.. I mean its only been a few days since the poll closing on location.

i ran all the colored trails when i was on skinny 33s and locked. they arent that bad. Purgatory has numerous lines so you can make that as hard or easy as you want.

I'm going this weekend. i'll take pics :)

Let me know if they changed the entrance tk the pink trail. I was there a few months ago and got denied on the first obstacle. There used to be a third rock in the middle on the backside, it is no longer there.

Once we nail down a date I'd like to talk campgrounds..... it would be cool for those who are camping to all make reservations at the same one.

The two big ones are the campground at the park, and Summer's campground, it's about a 10-15 minute drive on country roads.   Summer's has a pool, and lots of trees and is spread out.  They have  camp store as well.   The one at the park does not have any trees, but they have a new bath house that is really nice.

I don't care on which one. Y'all choose lol. I don't mind driving but camping onsite is always a plus... Minus the no booze deal at the park.. Or is that really inforced.? I like to unwind at the end of the day, especially after wheeling hard.. You need a mental break so to speak lol

The camp ground at the entrance is not IN the park. Drinking in the camp ground (after you're done wheeling for the day) is allowed.

I have always stayed at the campground by the entrance. That being said, if the prices are close to the same and they have a place to park the trailer, I'm not opposed to trying out Summers if that's where people want to stay.
