I put these on my truck 3 days ago an really enjoy them. http://m.discounttire.com/dtcs/findTireDetail.do?ra=searchTiresBySize.do&fl=&tc=KPBRA2&c=0&rcz=55339&pc=19514&ar=75&rf=true&rd=15&rc=MNMINT&cs=235 I'm sure you can get them in 31's I didn't want to go bigger yet.

I have two worries. One that I can't fit all of us in the truck and I would be going by my self if the other half and daughter don't go. Not to mention that I would be living in the camper when I get back. 2nd, I don't know if I want to depend on my 25 year old truck to tow a pop up camper 900+ miles one way. I just haven't had that much time behind the wheel yet.

well everyone here has the time off for the trip. I still don't know how I'm going to get 3 of us there with 2 seats maybe I will use the rear seat from the YJ and leave topper on. will be towing a popup camper down.

I like how he lowered the spare tire so he lessons the blind spot. -
if I understand what I have read, all I have to do is replace crank and rods. no other mods needed correct?

I don't have a 4.0 but I do have a 4.2 collecting dust, trying to decide if I want to use it for stroker parts or get new parts and get rid of the motor

mikejenn2 replied to badazzelanore's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
a little off subject, but if the gas fell on a tar driveway keep in mind it will eat it up and turn the area into powder. may want to seal it up b4 it does. -
for what it is worth the 1st 2nd work best for my vacation time.

take the shaft , put it on a block or something strong bench should work just as long as it will hang off the edge. take a 17 mm or so socket and pound on the one side of the ujoint making sure that u pull any "C" clips or snap ring out b4 hand pound till the other side comes out then flip it over and do the same if necessary. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jpME2VD1oA

I am off work that first weekend. so yes it would be ideal for me as well, as I wouldn't have to use much vacation time. I work every other weekend. YES, I have my schedule for next year already lol.
