yxmj Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 You guys have me thinking now.....I have a set stored a bit of distance away....took them out of a 98 XJS 2 door....the reason I kept them is that when we measured them and compared them with a set of 4 door seats and if i remember right they were both wider and deeper. But when i look at the pic of the 2 side by side on the other page they look the same..... :hmm:

johnj92131 Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Here is the ZJ seats in my Cummins. Like that central console. Does it open up with enough room for a lap top? Looks similar to mknyboy's 97 Dakota center console. Not sure if his opens up for storage.

shelbyluvv Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 John, those seats are in my white Dodge. The one I hauled the shell home in. The one we had to take the shell off of to put the MJ SungTop in. My Dodge is an ST (base model) with vinyl floor, roll up windows, push locks, and had vinyl seats. Because of her being an ST the center console does not open up. The higher end trucks have opening consoles. I am not sure if a laptop would fit in it or not though. Bo

That is why I don't hold things for people. If someone shows up with cash first they get it. I've been burned a few times like that.

I simply sent an email asking if he'd take $200.......he responded with 'yes' and a ph#. I have not made arrangements. Before I drive 400 miles tomorrow........just asking opinions.

I broke it apart into three pieces like he did, otherwise the center console/seat is level with the others. The Dakota doesn't have quite the hump that an MJ does. They gave me a little more leg room than the MJ buckets.
