Rockfrog Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 I just went with a set of 92 2dr XJ cloth seats ... was an upgrade from my shredded and severely worn out vynil buckets. Upgraded to Laredo headrests cause I like em better.
HOrnbrod Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Is that a modified ebrake lever from an XJ Mnkyboy? :hmm:
64 Cheyenne Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 1997 Dakota Whats with the lever by the shifter...E brake?
Blue XJ Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Mine has the buckets out oy my old 90 Cherokee Laredo 2 door. I had to make my own brackets to mount them, but they are extremely comfortable.
jpnjim Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 2001 XJ buckets with a kid sized racing bucket in between I had to space the buckets out a bit to fit it, and I put a door on the home made mount to make it a lock box
mnkyboy Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 The lever is a hyd hand brake/park brake, it has its own master cylinder tied to the rear brakes. Its mainly for a drift or rally car but I use it to hold on hills on the trail, it also has a feature that allows it to ratchet like a park brake which is good since I use front brakes on the rear which have no provisions for a cable brake. 1997 Dakota Whats with the lever by the shifter...E brake?
HOrnbrod Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Very interesting. So you have front disk brakes on the rear?
mnkyboy Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 My D44 has D30 brakes on it, my new D60 is gonna have Chevy Front calipers on it.
