88whitemanche
I didn't expect that at all!!!! Those bastards! I think they mean by eliminating the competition in circuit racing!!!
dasbulliwagen
WOW! Really? Talk about taking the name litrerally. Ive never even thought about it like that. And how many people that read that even know what a Comanche is? It was a big leap for them to do that.
Minuit
I somehow don't think this is completely serious. I hope not, anyway. I'm not saying racism isn't a big problem but it seems like people are looking for it on purpose. The rest of the names are pretty stupid - our beloved trucks deserve no part in this article. hassyfoto
When you run out of things to write about, you grab for a long shot! As a serious AMC enthusiast, I am used to the constant doggery of AMC or Dodge products.
ComancheKid45
Haters gonna Hate.... I personally enjoy driving a vehicle that still has a name, alot auto manufacturers have gone lazy all together and just throw numbers and letters together to create a "name" for their vehicles. BMW M3 Fiat 500 Volvo XC40 Mercedes C Class Lexus IS300 Blah Blah Blah LAME! Haha Ok ive drifted far enough off course here i think :peek:

AMCJeepMJ
The Lincoln Mark series had all sorts of goofball editions back in the 70s and 80s... all forgettable until the introduction of the Mark VII LSC... that was the one to have. GirsMJ86
What does everyone have against the Eliminator all of a sudden? I frikkin' love that trim name, as I'm sure most others around here do too. Everyone else though seems to have just discovered it and are picking it apart like it was the worst named vehicle ever, claiming it to be insensitive or whatever. I'll take that Eliminator and drive it proudly, after I fix the grille. I agree on the COD:MW3 Wrangler though, why Jeep would want to have a tie-in with one of the worst game series is beyond me. They wanted to do something cool? They should have done something like Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Evil Dead Edition, or some other zombie themed package. Couldn't they have picked the Ford Probe Wild Orchid Edition or something as number one...
ftpiercecracker
Comanche. Eliminator. . . . . lol :teehee: That idea actually hit me a few weeks ago, but i thought it was old news.
H3RESQ
How much irony is there in the fact that I have a Jeep Comanche Eliminator, and I am 1/32 Comanche?????? Luckly I am not 1/32 Jeep Comanche, I am just Comanche....

Eagle
Am I the only one who doesnt see how the grill is upside down? :dunno: Probably. It's upside down because it's not right side up. Look closely -- each rib has a bend that, on that vehicle, is about 1/3 down from the top. Flip the grille over so it's 1/3 up from the bottom and the bend aligns with the line of the tops of the parking lights -- and the bend in the side marker lenses. I converted my MJ to the 98+ front clip and I feel like the grill doesnt have that little bump out on it.
