Anyone here who barely grows facial hair?

I don't get you people, I have a couple of friends(in the 24-28 range of age). Who barely grow anything with time, or who don't grow any hair except on a few little spots on their face but at a normal rate. I haven't shaved since saturday night and already I feel like I need to go sand the rust off the titanic with my face.

I hate this, the electric razor I've had since I was 13 broke and now I gotta use a blade and its killing me. I was probably the only poor SOB in 7th grade who had to shave, right since the beginning the only thing that didn't irritate my face to high heavens was that electric. Whatever, sorry I'm just itchy and pissed off right now.

I started shaving when I was 15. I got away with shaving once a month back then, but now I look all fuzzy if it's been more than 2 days. I usually only shave when I have to look all schmancy, or when it starts to itch, which is usually about every week and a half.

I would kill to grow it out where I want it and then take a pill to make it stop.

Also, I cannot stand electric razors. I used to have an electric, but it died, and I decided to try a regular razor (bought a Schick Quattro) Love it. I'll never use an electric again.

I don't like shaving so I have a beard. Its very easy to use the clippers to trim
Exactly where I'm at! I haven't

used a razor since before I really needed one! Weather I'm just trimming the beard, or taking it all off, I just use clippers. (I can get away with it, because I have a red beard, and don't look scraggly without a clean shave.) I let it grow from last Nov-Apr, and only trimmed the stache to keep from eating it. I had true mountain man status with all my friends!

Whatever Sir Sam, you've got a Chuck Norris quality beard that guys like me would kill for. Me, yeah I can grow one, but whatever I do, I just can't get that quality Jeremiah Johnson look. Entered ROTC at 18 so I had to shave all the time, didn't matter I could barely grow facial hair at that time, fast forward through the next 16 military years when I get out. First thing I try to do is grow a beard after waiting all those years and it comes in looking like the dang Geico caveman. That's ok though, I've got it where it count, I really feel sorry for those guys who can't grow it on their @$$.

Ya I'm the same way, red hair so it doesn't show much when I haven't shaved in a few days, but even then there are times when I need to be clean shaven.

I've had the eating hairs problem too, gotta keep it trimmed so I don't rip hair off my upper lip when attacking a cheeseburger.

I usually do that, use the "beard" trimmer to get off all the hair untill its just like a light stubble, but you can still kinda see it so when I need to be clean shaven for job interviews or whatever I just used the electric head, left me smooth and without irritation, but with any blade I always manage to get ingrown hairs like a b*@$£, something that didn't happen to me with the electric.

Ya but I hate getting on an airplane and getting looks like I might be an irish jihadist.

I am unable to grow a full beard. I can get a mustache, and all down my chin, but beyond that, almost nothing. I can't to a full goatee either. The stache and the chin won't grow together. can't grow sideburns either. No chest hair.... must be some american Indian in me somewhere. My great grandmother did once say that we had a bit of that connection, but beyond that I counldnt tell you. Ive noticed that most guys who can grow lots of hair, tend to go bald up top. I don't think I'm going to have that issue. I hate shaving too, so most times, Ill just knock down the stache, and all the little strays, and let the rest go, and I only do electric. Scared myself once as a kid with dads razor, and havent touched them since!

Try a double-edge safety razor. It's better if you do the whole shebang - shave soap, brush, mug, etc, but even with regular old shaving cream I like the shave better than with disposables. You just have to let the weight of the razor do the work, and don't push it against your face too hard. Way cheaper than whatever 3 or 4 blade kits they've got - you can get 100 blades on eBay for $20 or so. Each one lasts me about a week, 3 or 4 shaves.

I just started doing this last year and it makes a world of a difference. I enjoy shaving now.

I'm balding up top so I just buzz it all off with no guard on the clippers. I use a straight razor on my face and will occasionally shave my head too, but it just takes too long. I used to have an electric that worked great for my head (just so so on my face), but when the blades wore out, I was too cheap to replace them. I'm supposed to be clean shaven for work, but I just buzz it down as short as I can and get away with it.

It's an easy fix. Shave in the shower. Make it the last thing you do. The steam really helps. Then you won't feel like you are ripping your face off. Then touch up with an electric razor.

i can grow a pretty sweet beard and i usually do. i think i might have one or two small places where i can't get any to grow. maybe peach fuzz but nothing good like the rest of my face. i don't know what the deal is but its covered up by the hair around it so i don't care. now my brother can't grow a beard worth a $#!&. it took him so long to grow a decent goatee, i could of had a full beard!

I usually shave once it becomes too itchy, and turns into a light beard. Ends up being about 3-4 days. Since I work for the local Fire department, we have to keep a clean face below the lip because of the masks. Its kinda held me back from letting my full on beard come out, but I think I'd be pretty decent.

I just use a disposable wally world brand knockoff 3 blader. I've always wanted to try an electric job, but I just can't get over the price of a decent one. Is it really worth it?

I didn't have to trim the stache weekly till a few years ago. I think on my 30th birthday, my nose hair, and mustache joined forces to try and overrun my mouth! (And my stache is where I have all my gray hairs! 3 kids'll do that to ya!) Dirty blonde hair, red beard, and graying mustache! Nobody asks ME if the curtains match the drapes! Nothin matches on me!

Speaking of razors, don't buy the Fusion Pro Glide, those commercials are full of *^%#! They dull 10 times faster than the two blade Bic disposables I'm using now. At 24 bucks for a pack of four blades they should last a couple of weeks per blade...those fancy blades are bigger rip offs than season tickets for the 2003 Detroit Tigers. No tug and pull my @$$!
