FINALLY finishing up my "overhang" protection that I begun some months back.... I had to step away from it as it was frustrating me to no end. I only had about 2hrs tonight and figured I would only get a couple pieces cut... I got is almost completely tacked together!!!!

Maybe tomarrow I'll get it welded on...

Sorry, no pics (don't own a digital camera).

A week ago pulled the carpet and padding because it was wet from a really worn out driver side door seal and let them dry for a week.

Ordered a door seal http://www.teamcherokee.com/Weatherstrip/index.html and installed it. REALLY happy with it's quality! Wire brushed some minor surface rust on the floor board because of the leak. Vacuumed it out, washed it down, and applied some rust sealer a local body shop uses in place of por-15 because theirs is one step. This shop restores a lot of cars and they use this on them. Forgot the name of it but since they are closed today I will get it later and let you know.

With carpet and pad dry, same body shop gave me some of the wrap (free) used on chrome bumpers that they use for sound insulation and added it. Didn't add it under or over the heat insulation for the converter. Reinstalled it all and it did help some! I can hear my CD turned down two notches!

It's funny. At 61 I avidly use computers and like having a really good one instead of hanging on to my original Mac Classic with a 9 inch screen, but have a tough time going digital but instead love using my Full Metal Jacket Canon AE-1 with Telephoto. But, guess I best get over using it only, eh? :smart:

Switched out a gallon of water for a gallon of antifreeze in the cooling system. Starting to get too cold for all water.

Going to pull-a-part tomorrow to get a new door, after which I will start driving it again.
