mvusse Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Heckuva place for the cap to blow off the pressure tank, causing the water to boil out even though the temp was well within normal operating range. Refilled and got on my way.
89eliminator Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 lol, nice dashboard sandwich. get any body damage?
CRF136N Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Went back to Pick and Pull and got: -The OEM foglights for my '99 bumper, and put them on. Now I got to wire them, prob just go and get an aftermarket fog light wiring harness just to make it easy. Thinking about some 4300k HID's to match the headlights  -Front fender flares off a '00 xj to match the bumper better...and put them on, was pleasantly suprised to discover they fit right onto the "old" style fenders, only having to drill one hole, all the other holes lined right up with the brackets  I had expected some major modification :shake: Tomorrow they come off, get sanded and painted satin black to match everything else...then I got to make the rears match the fronts. -Fender liners from the '00 xj so everything fits and looks right, but haven't put them on yet. -James
mvusse Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 lol, nice dashboard sandwich. get any body damage? Uhhh, yeah... Rock rash from head light to tail light, most of which will buff out, and pretty much destroyed driver's door.
