BLHTAZ Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 This is actually shown as an '88 Manual, but it should help with closely related years as well. As with my other posts, please open it and save it to your computer... https://comancheclub.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=14915

BLHTAZ Posted November 11, 2008 Author Posted November 11, 2008 This looks like the one I PDFed. How do you link it?I host it on my personal website. That's why I ask that folks save it to their computer insted of running it off of my site so it doesn't use up all my bandwidth. ;) I have 300mb of space to use and right now I am using about 237mb of it... It probably did come from you. I know that I got it from someone on here quite a while back, but couldn't remember who to give credit to...so here's to you for doing that
bigalpha Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Is there a copy of this that's not at this link? I am unable to open it due to firewall problems.
LoTGoD Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Is there a copy of this that's not at this link? I am unable to open it due to firewall problems. I uploaded it to an online free drive that I have. Will this work for you? http://cid-c40904cfda278a46.skydrive.li ... .aspx/Jeep
bigalpha Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Ah, it got all the way to the 'download' part. It's no biggie - I have some downtime at work and was going to read through it to figure out some electrical issues I have.
landlubber Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 awesome, been looking for one of these.
88SporTruck Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Thanks! I printed the whole thing off at work and it was invaluable when i was trying to get my freebie 88 running!

Eagle Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 http://www.greatlakesxj.com/tech.html 404 (Page Not Found) Error
Biotex Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 What a great resource. Went to get inspected today and it failed becuse when the headlights are on the right turn signal quits working, and sometimes the backup lights blink. The back side of the headlamp switch got hot and melted at some point, so perhaps some damage to the wires was done. Going to have to take the dash aprt, but first I might just replace the multi function switch inside the column to see if that fixes it.
BLHTAZ Posted September 15, 2013 Author Posted September 15, 2013 I have received a couple messages lately that the link to the .PDF was broken. I believe I have it fixed, but if the original "click on the logo" trick is still showing only a picture, here is the direct link: http://www.bteventures.com//mj1988electricalmanual.pdf
01yellowxj Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Thanks for the manual. I just bought my MJ today and the dash lights don't come on nor do the rear tail "running lights" but the turns work. Hope to figure this out soon. Never had an issue like this on my XJ's but always owned 98-01's.
