I will have to look but I did have two sets at one time, one good, one passable if I still have them I will take $60.00 for the pair + shipping. Will check in the next few days and check board again to see if you still need. I live in Maryland to give you an idea on shipping cost. I no longer need Comanche items as my motor exploded a few years ago. If you need anything else llet me know and i will look if I have.

I will have to check, but I am fairly sure I have one. I will let you know as soon as I can.

Fuel pump questions 4.0l 89MJ
tallon2064 replied to JeepNewb's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I may be able to help you out with a sending unit, but I need to know what size tank you have and if your truck is a renix or a ho motor. -

Didn't even trim the opening for the 4WD lever just cut a hole for the shifter. :hmm:  -
The holes to mount the front plate mount are actually on the underside of the front bumper. A front mount from a Cherokee will work they are a dime a dozen here in Maryland at the pick and pulls

Congrats, and remember regardless of what you are doing in the military it should be considered an honor to serve your country. This is coming from a retired :USAflag: US ARMY INFANTRY SOLDIER. :Canadaflag: BE VERY PROUD

The title says it all my motor blew up yesterday, the #6 piston ended up in my driveway, or at least part of it did with parts from the block and connecting rod. Still trying to figure what I am going to do with the Jeep, motor is done. I am trying to figure out how much to spend if anything on fixing it.

Just being curious but to which side the said control arms are mounted too make a difference or doesn't it matter? :dunno:

At least he didn't damage the stock rear bumper that is still on it  :wall: As for the rest consider the source :wall:

The one in the first pic may be for the under hood light. Looks kinda like the wire in mine.

I received mine in 1982, welcome to the club. The % is actually less then the % that pass special forces or seal training. And on a historical note the reason that the first lunar lander was called EAGLE is that all three astronauts on the mission are Eagle Scouts

Did you have to reinforce where you made the cut in the bed for the winch? :dunno: If you said what you did I must have missed it.

This is why I lock my door even when I'm home...
tallon2064 replied to Philistine's topic in The Pub
All states should have this doctrine, then if someone wants to enter you home they at least know that it might not be worth the risk. -
After reading ad it sounds like more of a commercial for the dealership than the vehicle. :dunno:

clear marker lights
tallon2064 replied to STERLING STINGER's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Have you looked under cherokee lights on e bay and other sights? -
Anything MJ specific is a good place to start, and go from there, anything you think you or someone else might be able to use. The same can be said for any XJ you find where the parts can be used on an MJ. The biggest thing is what you can afford, if you aren't in need of it right away, and if you have room to store.

Fuel pump replacement in 88 Comanche
tallon2064 replied to neverstuck's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Not really on topic here, but what external fuel pump are you going to use, I have thought of the same thing if mine goes out again. As for leaving the tank in or removing it and replacing the fuel pump I have done it both ways and removing it is by far a better choice. It is easier to work on and while out you can check for other issues, the first time I pulled mine I found a hole where the P.O. had screwed a box to the floor of the bed and through the top of the tank. -
:???: They don't use Washington but Geico uses Lincoln in their ads, :dunno: isn't that the same thing? :???:

Is that Robin Williams playing George? :???:

MJ v. 2dr XJ compatibility?
tallon2064 replied to MJRemi's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
:brows: :hijack:  Don't want to be accused of hijacking this thread, do the 2 dr rear quarter panels work, more importantly are the wheel wells compatible? :dunno: -
The first one I found in a yard I snatched up right away. I was lucky enough to get the factory plug and the after market plug.

$60 for a set sounds good to me, I paid 25 at a pull-a-part for one.

It has been posted that U haul no longer has them as they were only selling the stock they had and no one make one specific for our trucks.
