  1. Glad they didn't end up in a scrap heap somewhere
  2. I just posted in for sale on your ad. Lol
  3. I guess that was kinda my intention with this post, trying to locate people parting trucks.
  4. I am on the hunt for a good condition rust free bed, both rocker panels and both cab corners. I know its a long process to find these but am on the hunt..... Let me know what you have or can find please.
  5. Add it to the registry also.
  6. Is there a member close enough? I would buy those in a heartbeat but can't pick them up right now. Anyone close interested in retrieving and storing them short term for me?
  7. I fixed mine by disassembling the door, cleaning as much old schmoo as I could and relube with white lithium grease. Works like butter now.
  8. That helps. If you can get some pictures of the wiring that has been chewed there are people here that can get you started on figuring out what they are for. If you take the lower dash panel off it is much easier to access all the wiring under the dash.
  9. some background on the situation might be helpful. Was it running and driving before not starting? Has it been sitting abandoned in a field? There are alot of possibilites as to what can cause your issue. Not sure I can help much beyond that other than suggesting random things to check. Edit: I just looked back at your other posts. Looks like a clean truck. Have you examined the wires under the dash? What makes you say mice chewed them? Have you found any other evidence of mice?
  10. I know it sounds silly but cycle the lock a few times back and forth. I have had them hang up and cause the same issue.
  11. Another successful day at the salvage yard. She got new seat covers and door panels. I love these panels. They are my favorite. Here are some shots with the old driver seat still in. I am waiting on the other cover to dry after laundering. Also picked up some cruise parts I was needing. All I need to finish that is a lower Speedo cable. Oh and I snatched a roof rack from an 88xj with the sliding tie downs........
  12. I'm pretty sure Cadillac died this well into the 90's. I always thought it was a cool feature but never knew it was fiber optic.
  13. If your removing cruise there are some parts I would like to have. If you would be willing to sell
  14. Well thats good to know. I'll resolder and heat shrink it. As far as the fan, I don't know if it runs with the ac on or not. The ac has no charge in it so I don't currently use it. I'll have to check on the fan tomorrow.
  15. I do have factory ac. And I don't think ive ever heard my electric fan come on. Lol
  16. This sounds correct as I recall. The 91-92 was also different from the previous 2. I had this same discussion with Don when I was searching for a clock for mine. But thats been a while ago.
  17. I still have my ballast resistor so I know that's not it. Yes I have a cooling fan relay still intact.
  18. Bump. Any other thoughts? Wondering about the red wire splice also.
  19. Ok you guys know the drill.... What is this one for? And what has happened here with the red wire? P.O. work or is this a factory solder joint? It was only wrapped with electrical tape so I have a feeling it is PO. My truck does have old brackets on the front bumper for what I assume were driving lights. I have yet to find any evidence where someone wired them in. Did I just find the remains? My truck did not have factory fog lights. Forgot the pic.
  20. Yeah. I'm about done with Tapatalk..... My build: https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url=https://comancheclub.com/topic/8033-finally-found-onenow-it-has-a-new-floor/&share_tid=8033&share_fid=53169&share_type=t
  21. Sounds to me like you have a later model truck with headrests in the seat. If I recall correctly headrests werent offered until 90 model yr. Someone will come along that can help better. 22. I installed core 4x4 adjustable arms to go with the lift today.
  23. The new core 4x4 tier 1 control arms are in and adjusted. 7.5 degrees of caster put my driveline in beautiful shape, drives great and rides better. Plus I gained a little ride height in the front, due to the lca's no longer hitting the shock mounts.
