  1. I'm sure I would probably still be trying to dd my cj7. I learned long ago I find the mj more enjoyable to drive. If not the cj it would probably be a late nineties or early 2000's s10/Sonoma. Always like those lifted and blacked out.
  2. My 88 is a daily driver. I work construction and live out of the cross bed box. I love my manche and can't bring myself to tolerate anything else long enough to daily.
  3. PayPal sent. Sorry for the delay. Forgot all about these till I got behind my seat yesterday. Lol
  4. Either way just drive it. Lol
  5. You should just suck it up and buy a rust bucket mj to daily and swap in a 4bt
  6. I personally am not sold on the "added benefits" that are associated with synthetics. I have tried them in a few different engines over the years and was never real impressed. It seems you can take an engine that is healthy and doing well on dead dinosaurs and by simply changing the oil to synthetic, you can create alot of leaks and additional sledge build up on the internals. That said I run Rotella T4 with is the conventional version of the aforementioned T6. It seems to keep things a bit cleaner and my engines don't seem to use/lose as much oil between changes. I would also like to add that this is all based on my personal observations over time and your mileage may vary. Its just an opinion, and we all know what those are like.....
  7. The handle sounds familiar, but I don't remember him. RIP Jerry.
  8. And then pull it with a rav4?
  9. I would vote beater Trailer.
  10. I have no knowledge as to best year.
  11. The journey to rust seems to be a universal tale in almost every Jeep. For those of us up north I believe it began right about the time they were ready to start bending metal for the body. Sometimes I wonder if the last process before paint isn't a good sodium chloride bath. And I think the repair plan laid out seems solid.....(pun intended)
  12. I vote no. Just doesn't look right.
  13. It takes a big dog to weigh a ton.
  14. I think it's easier with the bench. Justhahadhave to find a generic cup holder that fits between the seat and mini console. Years ago when I had my bench in I had one from Wal-Mart with a ratchet in it that would hold to mega slurp chips from the local fuel station.
  15. I believe both of those will be a close but not perfect fit for a mj. I have a no window topper from an unknown short bed truck. Best bet is to just break out a tape measure and see how it will sit on your bed. Something else to think about is clearance for a cargo light if you have one.
  16. no it does not. Here are some pics. sorry thats all I have of it right now. I can take some more later today.
  17. I have a topper without Windows. I believe it is from an s10. I am in the process of clearancing for my cargo light and them it gets fresh paint
  18. what type of plastic are these printed with? I would be interested in a set if they could be painted grey to match my interior.
  19. Fire has always worked well for me.
  20. Wiser words were never spoken..... Well maybe once or twice. Lol
  21. Washington is a bit far for me to travel for a set. I have 6 now. don't really NEED them but am always searching for backups and future trailer wheels.
