I pride myself frequently in building one match fires. You can't cheat the basics without alot of propane. Pete look into top down fire building. It will help greatly. The key is starting the fire high in the fire box to encourage the draft to find its way up the flue not into the room.

I have been heating solely with wood for the last 12y+yrs. I wouldn't trade it for the world. Current shop stove, we call her Grandma I also have an England 28-3500 wood furnace in the house. Sorry can't find pics of it. But here is an older pic of the mj getting it done to make up for it. I have stopped using the mj for firewood now that I have an atv, and cut local to my home (within 2mi). I pull my utility trailer and save the mj some stress.

Looking at pics I would say the BDF mount will require cutting of the "crossmember" webbing under the radiator to fit. This is something required of most aftermarket hidden winch setups I have seen. It doesn't look like you would need to cut the fenders as it uses the stock bumper.

I think the shock boots will help with the retro look. Seems that was all the rage to chrome everything and if it couldn't be chromed stick it in a bright red shock boot or wire loom. lol Personally I wouldn't change your truck a whole lot, I think its a pretty sharp truck already.

Lots of chrome, 73' of lift and a bunch of big kc daylighters should do it

I used my rivnut gun yesterday for the first time since I bought it. Handy tool to have around for sure. Way better than tryng to tack a nut to a piece of sheetmetal. Lift. Later down the road if you change your mind you can unlift and go to a smaller tire. It is considerably more difficult to untrim a truck later in its life......

I did mine with a headlight restoration kit. Worked pretty good. Good enough for a daily for sure but definitely as nice as many. Just wanted to throw a quick fix idea in for us lazy folk. Lol

You don't need to tell me about wood stoves. Ive heated solely with wood for 12+yrs now. can't be beat in my opinion. I just thought if it got cold in GA that just meant it was time to turn down the AC. Lmao
