I'm not much of a photographer, but I do enjoy a good sunrise.

Did the engine trouble begin the same time you noticed the oil pressure gauge feed line was broken off below the distributor? If so the oil pressure line could well be the culprit to the demise of your engine.

I highly advise at least a ratchet strap on your spare. The factory winches have aged to the point now they are not trustworthy. I found out the hard way one day a few years back. The spare WILL bounce when it falls from under the truck and makes for a fun time when it comes back up and turns sideways under a moving truck. I have a full size 31" spare on a turbine wheel under mine. I had to remove the "splash guard?" that sits right behind the bumper for it to fit. But wouldn't do it without something other than just the factory winch.

Hard to say what a fair price is from the purchaser side. Especially not knowing the amount of time you have invested. I have a feeling you can set your price anywhere you feel comfortable. People will buy or they won't. Good chance you sell several since we are all wanting your product.

They are listed to fit 89-90. Is there a change in the ac system that would prevent these from working on my 88?

There is such a thing called 5.5mm. I have a snap on socket from back in the day. You have to have one for old gm stuff.

Op has an '86. Would the wiring on the early trucks be different?

I stored my tow strap in the center console on my CJ one time. Had to use it in the mud and decided right then it wasn't going back in.

I see. I didn't realize you were aiming for that many horsetorques. Since I don't have much big horsepower experience I guess I'm useless for help. Lol.

The ax15 you have will handle ls power. If your looking for shorter thro in the shifter, I highly recommend the Hurst short throw shifter.

I had one years ago. Personally I wasn't impressed with the quality. I believe it predates aux inputs.

I chose to just power one pump on mine. Figured when it failed I would just plug in the other pump.

But you made it amazing, just to cut it. You sir have more talent and guts than I. Lol

I'll second Yukon. I used them in my mj, and my CJ (I haven't driven the CJ yet since the swap). I have several thousand on the MJ gears and have no complaints.

I wouldn't be able to cut up a bed that looks that nice..... Glad you have more guts than me.

Sad to hear. I was definitely looking forward to watching this build. I will be patiently waiting for your return, and the 3rd iteration of an MJ.
