  1. I ran a YJ shifter for several years while searching for an xj/mj shifter. Someone on here (forgive my poor memory) showed me the short throw shifter formerly made by hurst. Wish I would have done it years ago. https://core-shifters.com/products/core-hurst-shifter-1989-1999-jeep-cherokee-comanche-6-cyl-w-ax15-5-speed
  2. Bite the bullet and get a short throw shifter. You can thank me later.
  3. What light is that? Any closer pics?
  4. It needs extended links to compensate for the lift. The sway bar should sit level iirc. This is one of these commonly overlooked things when installing a lift it seems.
  5. Just give it and extras few layers of that beautiful paint.
  6. Sorry I should update this. I have aquirred one and repaired my mistake. Thanks to all.
  7. In my life I have learned there are 2 things I don't like to sell, jeep parts and guns. You will regret the sale later in life.
  8. I broke a fitting on my vacuum canister. I am in need of a replacement. Who has one?
  9. Not me but a friend sent me these today.
  10. I remember seeing aluminum spray bottles you pressurize with compressed air. Here is the first i found one the jungle website. There are surely other/better/cheaper options. 11. New wheel studs and nuts would be a much better solution, and not that difficult to change. Used tires are difficult, usually tread is gone or they are way too old.
  12. Will the faster wipers make my ducks more visible to oncoming traffic?
  13. Guilty as charged, if only by my opinion. Ok ill stop hijacking. TURBINES FOR LIFE!!!!
  14. You forgot the 2 dozen rubber ducks on the dash.
  15. Your attention to detail continues to amaze.
  16. Best bet is to piece it together. When I did mine there wasnt a decent option for a "kit" lift. Rear springs are specific to the mj. General spring and hell creek both make rears. The front is all shared with the xj, there is plenty of info out there on what is needed to lift that. It will end up being way more than just swapping springs if you get above 3". 31x10.5's will fit stock with a little rub. There are several ways to fix that.
  17. I had a 97+ grill on mine for a short bit. Looks nice and minimal modification. Mine was a cheap aftermarket from rockauto. There isnt really much work that needs done to match the fenders. Even less for a guy with your body work skills. The difference between yhe grill and fender was roughly the thickness of a quarter.
  18. I'm not at my truck to confirm, but I think some are in the frame and some are accessible under the trucks.
  19. Can you get ahold of the stud "head" under the trucks? Ive had luck with vice grips and a wrench that way.
  20. If anyone needs it have 1 maybe 2 longbed pipes. They happen to be brand new walkers......
  21. Yeah kinda saddened I didnt see firewood porn when I opened the thread....
  22. Here are some of my "axes".......
