  1. The truck is looking great! I would run some CAD brackets up front. It looks like the axle is pulled back a little bit.

The purpose is to post your VIN for historical purposes. If you do not want to post your VIN your thread will be moved.
  3. We hit 119* here on Tuesday. But... It's a dry heat! The swap cooler on the house is trying it's best to keep it cool but it can only knock it down about 30* or so. It is warm in the house but a quick trip outside to give the chickens a handful of frozen peas and a cold drink lets you appreciate the 30* difference in temperature. I had to set up a misting system on the chicken coop to keep my girls healthy. This heat is crazy for this time of year.
  4. I put a big pipe wrench on the axle, then use a jack on the end of the handle to rotate the axle. It hasn't failed me yet.
  5. Replace the TPS with a good one. Return the AutoZone one you bought and get one from NAPA or find a NOS Mopar one. Running chain store sensors will cause you 100X more issues than you need. The old saying, "You get what you pay for" is a rule when it comes to sensors.
  6. The duct tape is factory believe it or not. I have found it in almost every one of my older ChryCo vehicle harnesses.
  7. I have a shell for an Isuzu truck that fits pretty good. I was told it was a MJ shell but it turned out not to be. It fits really good and is hard to notice the cab is slightly narrower. http://comancheclub.com/topic/20947-pictures-of-comanches-with-toppers/?p=519486

  9. On your way here? I think we may be headed back to Georgia. I need to be closer to my mom and sister. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  10. I've towed my Shelby Charger from coast to coast 6 times on a dolly. It was unregistered every time. I've never had a problem and will be doing it again next year.
  11. Glad to share my story. I was a real eye opener. I am happy as can be now. We are not rich, we don't have a lot of money in the bank. But what we do have is ours and we enjoy what we have very much. I think Pete said it best.
  12. I saved a lot money at one point. I had money in a IRA and savings. I was not rich but I had enough to retire comfortably. Then I got divorced and she cleaned me out. I watched my Jeeps, money, dog and kids drive away. I lost everything I saved for. I flew home in February because my dad was in the hospital. He was fine one day and sick as hell the next. He ended up with cancer that took him in 30 days from the time he was diagnosed. He was 65 years old. He never got to enjoy being retired. Never got to use the money he paid in to SSI and saved. I will not go down that path. I will make sure I have enough life insurance to take care of the family for a year or so but you can bet your @$$ I am living every day to the fullest. If I want something, I buy it. If I want a beer, I drink it. If I want Buffalo wings, I eat them. Life is too short not to enjoy it to the fullest. There are no guarantees tommorow will be here for any of us. Live life! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  13. He Richard! Glad to have you here my friend. Looking forward to the MJ build.

  15. He's in Indiana, lol.
  16. Have you checked the vendor section here?
  17. Krustyballer builds bumpers too..
  18. My SnugTop is laying in the yard on a couple pallets.
  19. I would toss it all in the trash and find either factory black trim or replace it all. It is going to continue to flake off. You can find used parts, clean it very well, prep it and respray it. If you don't you are just wasting your time.

Sir, please start a build thread in the projects section. This section is just to register the trucks. Thank you.
  21. There are a LOT of us in SoCal who go to the desert and Big Bear to wheel. You need to join up on NAXJA and keep in touch with the Chapter for runs.
  22. To run 33s with no trimming you are looking at a min of 6" of lift. You will not be able to flex it out unless you bump stop a LOT. I have 265/75r16 (32s), 16x8 Moabs, 1.5" spacer and a 4.5" lift. I trimmed and still rub on the fenders under full stuff. If you don't want to cut, 31s on a stock wheels will keep your fenders happy. You will still rub on the lower arms under full lock.
  23. Cordless sawzall and 3 minutes is all it takes to steal a cat. I had one stolen at Walmart a few years ago. It happens a lot out here in the desert.
  24. 3:55s are just a junkyard away. 3:73s are a dime a dozen if you don't mind swapping in a 8.8 out of a Exploder and LP30 out of a ZJ. There are cheap options to getting the right gears.
