for what its worth, i have used the bolt on system bought it from Rocky Road.. i wanted the nice long stable bed for the leaf and the little bit of spring wrap resistance. now since i have upgraded the axle i clearance the units to fit the larger tube of the new axle and welded them on. they are a very good product. and as stated they (when used on d35) lock into the old perch and they do not move or give way..i wheeled the sh#%t out of my D35 with this setup and it was rock solid.

I HAVE done the 2.5 to 4.0 swap on my current Comanche few years ago and if you use a Comanche donor, you DON'T need to change any wiring inside the cab.You ONLY need the under hood harness. I know that for a fact as I have done the swap. (If you use a XJ donor it may be different?) You just unplug the old harness at the connector plug in the new one and everything works.

For me simple,I wouldn't give a grand for any 4cy std shift MJ with any trim level. I don't care what it looks like. Thats me I want and automatic,4x4,4.0L if spending in that range or above Well that's great! Thanks for sharing that. Your welcome, anytime I can help ;)
