Airaid Or K&n Intake Air Filter Systems
Lee21490 replied to Keyav8r's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
That is freaking awesome. And pretty cheap compared to most cold air intakes too.. I think i will totally snag one of them, after i finish lifting my 'manche :3 -
Second this. Have a 40 series on my '86 with a '95 4.0L Really nice low rumble. Love the sound it makes when you WOT

I remember when I first figured out not to hit hard edges at any kind of speed... I was around seven or eight years old. It involved a bike, a steep hill, a curb, a twisted front wheel, a lot of blood, and a long wait in an alley before help showed up... Nah wasnt the curb. There was a big slice in the tire, Ran over glass or something in the grass.

I got blocked in at the bowling alley a few months ago, And there was a huge green lawn in front of me, and a driveway out on the other side. Was like @#$% it and jumped the curb / mowed down the lawn. Made it about 5 minutes down the road and realized i popped my tire lol /karma.

Inspect your tires, If they're starting to separate / have a buldge in them it will vibrate really badly at higher speeds. -

Its in renix systems also i believe. Your 92 should have it, Mines out of a 95. Yeah I'm like 99% sure it doesnt have one. But I'm probably/ am wrong. This is the only the photo I have of it. But as you can see it looks like I don't have one like you do Looks like the PO removed it.

Yea, that's what i heard the other day. I'm just curious why they put them in in the fist place then.... Also; i'm surprised no one noticed its upside down in the pic lol For me, it's because I removed all of mine so long ago that I forgot what they look like!! Last stupid question; Does it matter which way it flows through it? or either way?

Can i just bypass the valve completely and still have a working heater? Not quite sure what the purpose of it is. Mines pissing water all over the place.

I don't think so, I think it takes a little bit of tweaking to get it in. But i don't think its all that bad. The 4.0 wasnt even put in the comanche/xj till 87

Would love to help, But I bought my 86 with a 95 4.0 swapped into it already. /lazy

Yet Another Lift Kit Question......newbie Here
Lee21490 replied to skerriltj's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Ya, so long as your running 4.88s. ;) Check out the DIY section for a lift kit, 5.5in high quality, under 700 bones. Was looking at that actually. Think i'll start ordering parts from that list next month. My one question about it though, Would the back re-use the stock shocks? Unsure how much the weld on shock tab changes the shock size needed.. -
Why use two? They probably conflict with each other.

You should give Adblock Plus a try, Believe its more user friendly / works better.

What blocker do you use?
