  1. * Pin 11 on XJ Black connector, need to run a wire to pin P on the turn signal/hazard switch.(11 pin flat connector on lower steering column) This will provide proper wiring for the brake lights. Spent the last hour trying to find the 11pin connector.. Not quite sure if i even have it, Since the whole steering column is out of a 95 cherokee Now what.. lol I Seriously hate wiring. Is it a different harness for a 95 column? Because i can't find the 11pin :/ Halp
  2. A buddy is towing it out to his house in a few weeks. Not exactly sure what he's going to do with it. He got it for free ^^
  3. That was because i thought i could just bypass the switch & hook up a line directly to the brake lights. Which back fed power to the switch, causing only one side to work.

  5. Interesting, You were 1.7 miles from where i live at lol Interesting......apparently you missed this thread: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=35841 Yea.. I don't really log onto this site all that much. Planning on working on my 'manche alot more now that its summer ( don't have a shop / garage) though, So i'll be around more often ^^ I'm guessing thats your comanche in your avatar? It was, I just sold it earlier today. Still have my other '86 that i bought not too long ago, Its in alot better condition & has a swapped '95 4.0L in it ^^

  8. Yup They're still @#$%ing broken lol The front lights turn on now too ~_~
  9. I at least know that much.. lol Okay so, Turns out i was using the wrong wire out of the brake switch (Theres like 6 of them & Two have 12v Running through them) So i got that figured out... But now when i hit the brakes With the turn signal on, The signal stays on nonstop & The other sides brake light turns off... I @#$%ing hate wiring. /e I guess the right side works FINE, But the left side blinker is having problems I'm so confused /e2 Just had to switch what wire i had it spliced into at the light.. Now it works like it should ~_~
  10. Yup. Tried a few different areas for ground & Volt metered it & it reads off it
  11. Not sure if i'm straight retarded... Or I'm missing something obvious... Ran a wire STRAIGHT from the brake switch on the pedal, To the lights in the back.. Checked the wire & it has 12v Hook it up to wire A, No light. Wire b, No light Same for C/D. Even grounded the lights directly to the bumper thinking it was a ground issue...
  12. The guy i bought my 86 comanche from.. Never hooked up the brake lights when he did the 95 engine / dash / etc Swap.. Anyone have a picture of the wiring diagram, So i can find which wire i need to splice into from the brake pedal? :/
  13. Replaced all the brakes / cylinders. Time to eat then borrow a drill so i can put on hood pins (There is no hood release cable @@ )
  14. Took a pic this morning with all the interior in. Still need to get better seats / steering wheel / center console lol Found a New grill (mines busted up pretty badly) On ebay for 20$ also
  15. I know.. I tried getting a few when i started on the inside, But my phone ran out of memory after one lol Thats the interior how i got it (Minus one seat and i patched a hole in the floor) I'll take a few more pics when i go back out to work on it, Came inside 'cuz its raining and i don't have a shop / garage :(
  16. Got 95% of the interior done.. Just need to get some screws for the trim & two more seat belt bolts & finish bolting down the seats in the morning.
  17. Break the passenger or driver window if you have to. Stupid easy to replace, and usually dirt cheap. Or, if you are like the majority of us, reach up from the bottom, push the carpet over, and unlock the door. Rob I just twist the vent window open with my thumb. Thats what i did on my other comanche when i locked myself out, But this other one doesnt have them :/ Got paid & Went to the part store, Came back swapped out the plugs / wires / cap /roter / Sensor thinger in the distributor .. Turned it over & she fired on up like a champ Tomorrow i'll be finishing tearing out all the interior & Remove some rust / Paint the floor / clean / put everything back in. Havent had any time / good weather to work on it till this week, Hope i get a $#!& ton done.
  18. fml friend helped me unload some spare interior parts into the jeep and out of habit he locked the door I have no door key >_________<
  19. Only see the whole kit of them, Only need one >_< /e found some
  20. Anyone know a site that sells them for an 86 comanche? can't see to find them lol
  21. Its a 86 Comanche But the engine is out of a 95 Cherokee
  22. You mean the crank position sensor? I already replaced that. Was the first thing i tried :/ Just swapped out the coil, Still no spark from the coil lol Think I'm just wasting money at this point
  23. Getting 2.2V~ To the ign module 11.5~ going into the coil, But no spark
  24. Had to run to the store & grab a volt meter lol Going to test it now~
  25. There is no spark coming from the coil, There is fuel pressure on the bleeder /rail.
