  1. can't answer your first question, But the front driveline is completely fine. I know a SYE isnt needed for 5-6" of lift though.
  2. I havent done a ton of wheeling on mine yet, Just lifted it about a month ago. But from what i've seen/heard about it, the brackets are close enough to your tires that if your tires are going to clear the object, the bracket will be just fine.
  3. You can always just get lower arms, Uppers are usually fine stock. There are stock alignment shims in the lower control arm mount, When i added my drop bracket i removed them, to make up for the slight difference in the uppers length. We're talking like 1/4 inch. I THINK its 99+ Grand cherokee control arms
  4. http://www.amazon.com/Omix-Ada-18282-21-Front-Control-Cherokee/dp/B0042AHET4/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1392258262&sr=8-9&keywords=grand+cherokee+lower+control+arms http://www.amazon.com/Omix-Ada-18282-20-Front-Control-Cherokee/dp/B0042AF7Y8/ref=pd_sim_sbs_auto_1 Nice thing is, The lowers are curved a little, To help clear larger tires at full turn.
  5. I know almost nothing about headers.. Guy on craigslist is selling a Banks 51327 Torque Tube System Header For $230 Will i really notice a difference? Is banks a decent brand for headers? Opinions? etc.
  6. Took the same length, in shims out of the lower control arms. Yea, They bolt in pretty easily.
  7. Yes. Although many people here say you'll want to upgrade your lower control arms at the very least. As they're pretty flimsy. I ended up just getting a set of WJ control arms off Ebay, For about $100~. The lowers are the same length, The uppers are slightly shorter. Havent had any problems with them, Ride quality is really nice now.
  8. http://comancheclub.com/topic/35519-55-600-mj-lift-cheap-high-quality-100-complete-lift/ Here's the list i went with, When i lifted mine.
  9. A Soa with a D44 would give you close to 6" of lift alone with stock 4x4 leafs
  10. Could just insulate the truck better, So it stays warmer easier in the winter. For under $100 you can do your entire cab with "Frost king" Foil covered Closed cell rubber matting, (Poor mans dynomat) From home depot Helps quite your cab from road noise, Also helps to insulate the cab from cold.
  11. Where did you find the fuse? What rating did you use? Part number(s)? Radioshack 130c Idk part number
  12. Yea, Found a little nest in my glove box. Which is strange seeing how we have nearly no mice around (and a good hunting cat) Did this yesterday. So far so good~
  13. So i've blown two of these in the last two weeks, I know old/failing Blower motors can cause stress & fry them.. But i just replaced the blower motor a few months ago. So what else causes these to fry? /e Found a chunk of insulation type stuff near the resistor, Assuming that was the problem. Hope this one lasts.
  14. That happened a few miles down the road from me. Guy i know went & watched it, I didnt know about it untill after it happened though :(
  15. Just springs. I Followed his build list, And added a couple things. Like Upper & lower control arms from a Grand Cherokee.
  16. I threw 5100 bilstiens in the rear, And it super stiffened up the back. Was really bouncy before, Even though i had new shocks in the rear, They just werent enough i guess.
  17. Finally got mine lifted last weekend. Ended up taking two whole days. Everything went pretty smoothly, Drives great.
  18. Well after calling the company, Then having them tell me a week later they can do nothing. and that i have to call Rubicon Express.. I finally get a hold of someone at R E, And he promices to send out the passanger side boomarang bracket. Two days later he calls me says they're out of stock & He has a floor model he can send me, Okay w/e. Its just a peice of metal. So he sends it out Two day mail 'cuz i only have a shop to use this weekend. Well it just @#$%ing got here, and he sent me out another driver side bracket.. So now i have two of those, and no passanger side..

  22. XJ and MJ u-bolts are not torque to yield meaning that they are not purposely stretched during installation.
  23. Yeah, so my next question is.......>Do you want heat all the time? It won't cause heat all the time. It will cause the heater-core to have heat 24/7, But doesnt mean you will be blowing heat.
