  1. Very possible. But wouldnt that cause issues when accelerating?
  2. Is it completely stock? Or lifted? etc.
  3. Okay, so this is driving me insane. Whenever i stop the truck from 15mph+ And keep my foot on the brake, There's a hefty clunk from the rear. It ONLY does it in gear, If i shift to neutral it doesnt.Seems its when it downshifts while braking. Thought maybe it was the tranny mount as it was pretty worn looking, So i just swapped it out & it didnt change anything. I've checked the ujoints and they look/feel fine. There's no slack in them. Any ideas? '86 comanche 95 4.0l & tranny SOA rear (doubt its wrap)
  4. +1 for the zj tie rod. I did mine a few months ago because of the same issue. Actually hit it pretty hard while wheeling the other day & didnt even budge it.
  5. Okay, I'm sure this has been asked a bunch of times before, But google is failing me atm.. So i want to throw a locker in my front axle, Figured while i was in there i'd upgrade the two peice vacuum disconnect shaft to a one peice.. And while i'm at that, I might as well swap both to the later model bigger ujoint shafts. Thats where I'm stuck, What years came with the larger ujoint shafts? I heard you have to use a different seal then stock for the one peice shaft? If anyone could link me to a good write up, That would be great.
  6. Galaxy s5. They just came out with the new "Active" version too, Which is dust/sand/water/etc proof. The regular s5 is water proof up to 3 meters @ 30minutes. I just have a cheap rubber/plastic case on mine & have dropped it all over town & never caused any damage. Speed wise it blows the iphone away, It has a better camera, 4k resolution videos & photo/video software that rivals very expensive digital cameras. You can choose pretty much any media player you want on andriod. I havent personally messed with it as i have a standalone flac player / portable headphone amp for on the go.
  7. Haha, Yea, I've been fixing weird $#!& the PO did for ages. A little of the mess is me though.
  8. Will do after I get off work
  9. I assume so. I wasn't the one that did the swap, PO said he swapped everything involved with the engine.
  10. The vacuum lines have pretty much all been replaced with new lines & The map was replaced not long ago. I'm pretty sure there isnt a vacuum leak. Not sure which of those tips apply to me since they're for renix & my entire wiring/engine/Computer/etc is from a 95 cherokee
  11. Plugs were still in it, It was WOT though. Wasnt op temp, But wasnt cold. I wouldn't worry about it because you only pulled one plug at a time. If it bugs you, do it again with all plugs removed at once. How does it run? Seems like there's always a slight missfire at idle & always seems a bit rich.

  13. So when i swapped my spark plugs last night, I decided i'd throw a compression tester on it while i was there. Got 108 112 122 125 120 127 psi What is the compression psi for a 95 4.0l? Mine seem low :/
  14. I've been getting 10mpg ever since i got my 33x12.5 :ack:
  15. Thats why you pay the little extra to get tire insurance. Bought myself a set of 33x12.5x15 wrangler mt/r's & Sliced the $#!& out of one within the first two months of owning them, Bam new tire for free :D
  16. Did you put in the top bolts loose & Tighten the bottoms all the way? Might suck it up to it.
  17. Welcome to CC! I had a little issue mounting mine awhile ago, I ended up just lining it up, Drilling it out & Putting m14 bolts through it. You're talking about the drop bracket double shear, Right?
  18. Might be a new account filter, Some forums wait till you have X amount of posts before allowing photos to be posted.
  19. You could do a roll on liner
  20. Holy $#!&, I'm so glad i live in a place that gets almost no rust problems.
  21. What fender flares are on the xj?
  22. So i got an email from nate today, And i guess he's having some family problems atm and is behind schedule & said orders will take 3-4 weeks atm. Good thing I'm in no rush :D
  23. That's just for one though. Ebay has sets of 4 for around $100~ They even have a "Rivet style" Version too Cool deal! I think I'm going to pick up a set. I'm really tempted to order a set myself. Only thing is, idk if they'd cover my 12.5" tires. They look pretty flat on the body.
