it's a colorado truck and it has zero rust I'm not sure how many miles it has on it currently. It's lifted and has some custom built skid plates. But other than that my understanding is its stock.

Hello everyone my name is tyler and my buddy has a 87 regular cab short box 4x4 manual transmission 4cyl comanche. It's really clean but the transfer case is destroyed currently. He literally split the housing of the case. It has brand new BFG all terrain tires and is other wise in perfect mechanical condition. He's wanting to sell the comanche and I'm intrested in it. My question is how much should I be looking to buy it for? Also how much would a stock transfer case be? I do have the tools and facilites to replace the transfer case. He threw a number out there of 3 grand is that too much or not enough? Any input is apperciated! Thanks!
