You will still need- Gaskets Oil pump Rings Bearings Water pump Dampener Valve job Fluids Valve job (or order a head...out core charge shipping and time) Exhaust manifold (when you find cracks in yours......and you will) Cleaning supplies Misc. Time, time, more time. Energy. When you get older you realize just how precious your energy is...........you only have so much of it. Make it count.

The brackets were all you needed to find. Everything else should have come from JeepAir............meanwhile, I'm afraid you are wasting your time and energy.

The flares are nice but the rack is useless.

I cannot count the number of members here who has complained about having to downshift to 4th as you approach any kind of incline at highway speeds. Any gear taller than 4.10s will render OD/5th useless. 2.5/AX5 with 4.10s is a 99% rule of thumb. What went on with your donor? Who knows, as stated, after 33 years, anything. And there was a time when trucks could be ordered....again......who knows? No one here gave you bad advice.

FWIW.......... I told my tale here months ago about a $1400 seat sensor and a $560 air bag control module. Over $2K with tax. No lube involved. I got mine and you got yours. Live and learn.........and that's the point, LEARN! Now I know a lot more about these systems and how they work.
