  1. anywhere but chuys :ack:
  2. 4x4 requires at least the transmission, transfer case, 4x4 front diff/axle, front drive shaft, shorter rear drive shaft, shifter/linkages. This is assuming the two trucks are matching in transmission type. you should be able to use the 87 mj parts in your 89 but the 87 may have a less desirable transmission (especially if it is manual). Really not enough info to say if the 87 is worth 1000 or not, pics help. good luck, others will chime in.

  5. I'd like in on this action too, how much we talkin?
  6. That's the fuel pressure regulator, you need a new oring and maybe a spacer. I've only ever gotten them from a replacement part from advance, someone else may have a better source for just the oring.
  7. light blue on light blue  also grill is upside-down :ack:
  8. The quick and easy fix would be to just grab one (a cluster) out of an HO(91-96) Cherokee and swap it in. They are plentiful and with no speedo cable in the HO gauge cluster they are simple to swap. Though someone may be able to chime in with a more technical answer; to me any fix is going to require removal of the thing and if you already gotta remove it you may as well throw a replacement in and skip all the hassle of messing with it and hoping that it ends up working.
  9. What is the diameter of that tube ur bumper is made out of?
  10. :agree: All day everyday Shoot, I broke 3 bolts and the thing still didn't leak with the felpro, and I was able to reuse it after I changed the head gasket.
  11. Got around to installing some red fenders and headerpanel i picked up for this guy, still need to install that new mirror, also need to paint the fender flare for the driver's side so i can install it! Slowly this thing is becoming less yellow/black and more red all over  Oh yeah! I also picked this up for it! I may need to notch the bumper to mount it but it will look sweet!

  15. the temp switch for the fan is in the radiator and it switches on a relay , also the ac activates it too. Many people wire up a relay and switch to the dash to manually control the fan if they don't want to deal with fixing the factory wiring. Furthermore, if you ever swap a renix radiator it is common that the replacement won't have the bung hole for the fan switch so some people get an HO t stat housing and run a switch there instead. I like the manual switch myself. good luck!
  16. You should be able to run a full size "spare" on your hoist. I would just mount a tire on a spare rim and call it a day. Those temp tires are crap anyway.
  17. That may have been me  I almost got that tailgate so don't complain! lol if you need anything let me know I have a bunch of stuff shoved in my garage. ps: nashville pull-a-part right?

  21. You shouldn't need to get it to 5k rpm, I've never purposefully gotten my renix 4.0 to 5k rpm during normal operating, even on the highway. Always a good place to start:http://comancheclub....ers-renix-tips/
