  2. Text me at 609-412-5935. I have pics for your build book of this truck. I hauled it into NJ from Connecticut. I'm the second sig on the title. I'm not smart enough to get pics on CC, so contact me direct, lol. Good luck with the restore job. I have an 86 X diesel I did myself. I'll get you some pics of that one as well. Nothing special about them other than the rarety. Best numbers I heard was 75 or 80 registered in the US total. Not everyone appreciates the fact that there are so few. Those of us who do get it.
  3. Hey guys, anyone have any 2.1diesel parts laying around? Specifically the timing belt cover. Also could use a full gauge cluster for diesel that includes the boost gauge. Thanks!
  4. Thanks, JeepcoMJ. Is it stainless or plastic tube? Where does it start on the turbo...underneath and along the firewall? There is nothing obvious around the turbo top.
  5. I feel abandoned...
  6. The boost gauge on my 2.1 L diesel does not work. Is it electric operation or vacuum / positive air flow operation. The turbo is working fine. I don't know what to look for wires or vacuum tubes.
  7. My tach on my 2.1L lays on zero. While cranking the starter it will jump around 0 - 1500 RPM. When started, tach reads nothing. Any advice?
  8. There you go Tom, you could conduct payed tours of all the bone yards you've scouted out over the years.
  9. Forgot I had this posted. My brother fabricated steel replacements for me about 2 weeks ago . Even powder coated them black. Nice to have a machinest in the family,
  10. GREAT LITTLE TRUCK! Good color choice. No advice offered my friend. Just admiration! BRAVO!
  11. You will need to PM 86 MJ for that info. He is the BONE YARD KING.
  12. Got plenty of open parking space plus 2 acres of woods to hide Jeeps in. Put up a 24x30 pole barn 10 years ago. Can fit 4 Jeeps in there. Added a 22x26 steel car port 2 years ago. Can fit 3 LB MJ or 6 Wranglers under there. Have a new 24x32 car port going up Monday! Lots more under cover space there. Total of 24x88 under cover space. AND ALWAYS LOOKING FOR MORE!
  13. In NJ vehicle must be 25 years or older to qualify for the QQ tags. One time fee ( was it 75.00?) and no more state inspection. You are restricted in terms of use for other than parades, club meetings, car shows, cruises etc. I have on only one of my 86 Comanche Custom. That one gets shown a lot. May apply for the diesel soon.
  14. MY MAIN MAN! What you just got? Don't keep me hangin' here!
