A guy pulled out in front of me in the snow/hail causing me to slide into the guard rail :fs1:
This thing cannot take a wet road for anything, going to need to get some new tires for it eventually, or some weight in the bed.
In reality its not much damage, lost a mirror and messed up an already jacked up fender a little more :dunno:
should be a pink wire that is 12v all the time and a blue with white tracer that is 12v in on position. At least its like that in my 89.
Also there is this resource which i am not the original uploader but didnt want to search for the link to download: 88electricalmanual
Welcome to the club!
Can't wait to see pictures, gotta love an auto on the column, if you have a bench seat you'll have one without a center notch.
Reminds me that i never mentioned that I am going to stay with the stick on this truck since my cousin decided he was more of a beemer kind of guy :dunno:
I have been driving this truck for a few weeks while my dd gets a slow head teardown/gasket swap and a new harmonic balancer. Turns out silence in traffic gets old after a week or so. Decided to grab a stock radio from the JY and throw it in only to realize I have no speakers.... I knew about the fronts being taken out but it looks like i have no rears either. Beginning to think this thing didnt come with radio from the factory due to the fact that there are not even rear speaker brackets. Pics will follow.
I failed to mention that I have a newer style valve cover so it has the newer gasket. I will reuse it since its less than a year old and also is a nice felpro one.
Thanks Jim, I thought they would be the same but the computer insists they are different. I went ahead and picked up a set and will attempt to use them when I change my head gasket tomorrow. Time will tell if they are the same.
Does anyone know if i can use Felpro : ES71102 in my 89 auto 2wd 4.0l MJ? They are listed for 96-01 XJ but I cannot find any listed for renix XJ/MJ locally and I need them this weekend.
Opinions appreciated.
Why you hate photobucket?
no matter, dude ur gunna need a new box!
Also my mj was originally the same color and your roll bar, grill guard, rail bars really make it work.
:hmm: what u mean by clamshell ??
I think the rear axle should be a priority over the front axle, if that thing has a Dana 35 it will go long before the Dana 30 front axle. So far as the remix goes check out cruisers renix tips and you should be just fine
