The header panel could have been replaced with a later style or the holes were filled in during body work. I prefer the ones with pins, no guessing for placement.

Up to 90 they used pins with speed nuts, 91-92 were adhesive. The emblems are also different between those generations.

The truck already won’t start without something “special.”

That’s why I prefaced with “I know any wheel lock can be overcome.” I’m thinking of having all the nuts locks, if someone wants to remove 20 locks they really really want them. @eaglescout526 do you have a PN for them? Thanks.

I know any wheel lock can be overcome, but which ones do you think have the greatest deterrent value? My next door neighbor just got the wheels stolen from their Corolla which was on the driveway!!! Since I just put new tires with shiny wheels on my 88 I want a little more security. Things are going to $h!t, the drivers window of my 89 was broken out last week, luckily the local yard had a Cherokee with a good window.
